Guys: I need to know. Do you consider this attractive or too forward?
Sometimes when I meet a guy, I feel that this is the only way to get my point across that I'm interested. I'm not that good at flirting... but I guess giving your number to a guy without him asking would be a form of flirting.

And I feel like asking someone to see their phone (to put in your number) is a bit juvenile. I mean, people used to do that but I'm a bit older now

In my experience guys will at least text 5 times with no reply before giving up, then call a few times. And then maybe wait another 2 weeks and text another time lol.

On here guys ask "I texted her "hey" twice and she ignored them both, should I call her now?"

Friggin ridiculous if you ask me. I will text anyone, guy or girl, once before just saying that the ball is in their court. They have seen your text, so sending another isn't gonna do anything. If they haven't seen it, it doesn't matter how many you send, lol.

So what's your magic number?

This guy has been giving me signals for months. Almost a year. He never made the move so i decided to ask him out when he came in my work. There was a long line, and i asked him what he was doing this weekend and he said nothing yet and my gut told me the way he was saying it was like an invitation to ask. I said well if you are free we should do something, and he was like yes totally i will be in touch all cute and excited.

It's been two days and nothing. I didn't have time to exchange numbers (long line) or nail anything specific down but we are Facebook friends and he said he'd be in touch. I want your opinion on this:

If he was interested would he have messaged? Should i be the one to message since i initiated?
OR should I wait to talk to him until we are in person again?
Should i fb message him my number?
And just your general feel about this situation.

I have never asked a guy out before. I really like him. I'm wondering if i should not have made a move, because it looks desperate like all of my girlfriends tell me. I'm sad.
