Ifyou type on Google Images a male celebrity name that is considered hot, you see these guys with their hair full of gel, and for some reason most of them make their hair go up.

I was wondering if this has any impact in dating girls, I know that for us guys, if a girl make her hair beautiful, her value goes up. But girls are different, they care more about personality, so it makes me doubt.

I had always cut my hair very short so I never had the need for hair gel, sometimes I think it can make it fall off. But considering my lack of success in finding dates I was wondering if this could help me or not

This subject keeps coming up...and I don't think there is any question that, on average at least, guys prefer girls to have longer hair. But exactly how important is this? While I prefer longer hair as well, my wife's hair is not much longer than my own...which is very short (yeah my ponytail and full beard days are long past) So guys...is short hair a deal breaker or the cause of you not asking a girl out? I cannot imagine that to be so...then again...is why I am asking?

Some people take criticism about their appearance (makeup, clothes, hairstyle, piercings, jewelry, etc.) from everyday people you meet in real life, including guys / girls that you are interested in.

Other people take criticism about their appearance more harshly from friends and family members.
