For a little background:

I was raised in a religious Asian family. I have 3 siblings total, the sibling I'll be talking about is my eldest brother. Growing up we were completely the opposite to each other. He was very family oriented and extremely gifted academically whilst I was a bit of a rebel and didn't care too much about school. I fell in love with an atheist white man and when my family found out, they were extremely unsupportive to say the least. I didn't care and at the age of 18 I dropped out of school and married him. After I had my first child, I realized I wanted my family in my children's lives. I organized a baby shower and invited them all, only my eldest brother came. He was very active in my son's life, at times more so than his own father and when my daughter was born he was very active in her life too. By then he had accumulated a lot of wealth through various means so could afford to spoil them by buying them gifts and taking them to Disneyworld etc. He doesn't want any kids so treats mine like his own. About a year ago I got a divorce from my children's father and since have been struggling even more financially than before the divorce (my ex was a deadbeat). None of my friends are willing to loan me anymore money as I am already indebted to them and I have no way to turn. Although my brother loves my kids, he still resents and hates that I ruined our family's reputation by marrying a white atheist so I know that if I asked him for help financially, he more than likely would refuse.

Would I be wrong in withholding my children from seeing him if he refuses to help me?

I need advice please... I met a guy at a party in November last year, we spoke on the phone many times until we finally met up in the city on the 4th of January. I hadn’t been in a relationship for 8 years as I really struggled after being with my narcissistic ex... anyway this new guy was really flattering, he insisted on buying me drinks, food etc on every date we went on, then for Valentines Day he bought me an $800 ring and insisted I have it, I’d never been given a ring before so I was blown away! Only thing is he insisted that I must dye my hair black as he said he hates blond hair!! He also hates that I’m friends with an ex from 10 years ago and reckons I’m cheating with him, I am not!! So anyway he’s suddenly gone all hateful towards me in the last few days and accused me of being a shifty con artist for attaining the ring from him and that I must give it back! He said if I don’t that he and his mates will come to my home (I live with my elderly mother and 8 year old daughter) and get it back that way!! I’m terrified and anxious!! He honestly insisted that I have this ring and if we break up it will be something I can remember him with... am I an idiot for accepting his gift? He seems to be mentally ill and hid it well early on!! I also feel that he is most likely a casual ice user too due to his up and down emotions and paranoia!! I said I’d meet him in the city with a friend to give him back the ring but he said I must come alone or else!!! I’m not coping so any advice on what I should do will be appreciated...

My ex officially dumped me six months ago, after two and a half years. Surprisingly enough, we kept in contact and continued to see each other. He made it clear we weren’t dating, but that one day we might be able to work it out. He went away for a weekend; and when he came back I asked him if he’d gone to see a girl. He told me no, and I flipped out on him saying I didn’t want to wait around for him to tell me he’s slept with someone. We had an agreement that we’d tell the other person if that happened so we would then stop seeing each other, but I still asked. He asked me if I’d hang out with him again if he slept with someone. He then said he didn’t want to, but that I brought up the topic in conversation when I asked if he’d slept with someone.

days later and it was Valentine’s Day (yesterday) he made a Valentine’s day post about me and got me flowers, a heart shaped pizza and a card. The other day he said we weren’t dating. I’m confused! Does he really only want me?
