Seriously, why? it's been 4 years, with long periods of months and then sometimes just a few weeks of not talking but back on again. at first he couldn't get it together because he wasn't over his ex (understandable, serious relationship and it had just ended, this was actually about 2 years ago) but the last time I told him to never call me again I like to think I was serious, I meant it because we wanted different things. but then he came back and the calls became increasingly frequent, sometimes middle of the night, sometimes middle of the afternoon, and I wouldn't answer... until I did. then everything was great, and when things are great with us, they're great, we treat each other well, we go to each other's things, we like each other's friends, we have great sex and everything feels respected. I felt like he was ready to talk about ACTUALLY being in a relationship and then he said he was ACTUALLY ready to talk about being in a relationship. then I had a bad personal experience of my own (not going into detail about that) that made me get on him about it in a needy/pushy way and he retreated like BAM. now we're not talking again, when things got so close to being good and staying that way. what the hell? I guess I'm not too worried because the past shows that he doesn't stay gone for long, but I'm still worried, and I miss him, and just wish he'd share these issues with me (his life is complicated and I think hard on his ego) my friends think he is a good person, but with some emotional issues.

I hear two voice.
most of people said if he not start the talk within 2 month it mean the relationship will never official. you will just his friends with benefits or f body.

some other though said guys don't like the title. too girly to ask will you be my girlfriend. so always should be the girl to ask and label down the relationship.

i seeing someone for couple month and by his acting i feel we are exclusive. but he did not say anything or ask for anything yet. he is kind of shy and slow invert person.
he already start leave his teeth brush at my place and wish to get a corner of my closet. not by the word by his acting i know we are in kind of relationship. but is that ok without the talk?
I do feel if i ask he will be ok to label down, anyway i feel no difference the way he treat me.
I don' t want to be the one who bring it up. sound pushy, stupid and desperate.

I've been dating this guy for 2 months now. It has been amazing and although we've only been on 3 dates, each time I feel like we're getting closer and closer. I can see him becoming more comfortable around me too and acts more like himself rather in a manner to impress me (which he still does through little things like opening the car door and such). We show affection toward each other to a limit. Everything has been great until he introduces me to his dad as he was dropping the grocery at his parents' before driving me home. And me and his dad even had a talk for about 5 minutes without the guy being present and his dad told me how when his son mentioned me he thought I have to be special since he's peculiar about women. It's not that I regret meeting his dad or anything but I'm just wondering what level we're on now that has happened. I know you'll think best way to find out is to ask him but I don't want to seem pushy. It has only been 2 months afterall. But from that, do you guys think it means exclusivity without having to bring it up? I mean.. at least that tells me I'm the only girl he could possibly be dating or that he wants a long term thing with me. Any opinions are appreciated :)
