Does this seem fair?

Dustin is 16 years old. He's 5'2, skinny, and has a youthful face and skin. He recently dropped out of high school, got a GED and started looking for a job. He applied for 20 jobs and got no reponses. Dustin tried again, and got one interview. The manger didn't hire him but offered him 300 dollars to perform sex acts. Dustin rejected him. Dustin was offered 200 dollars by a older women to show nudes. Dustin gave her nudes, got 300 dollars, he was so desperate for money he started donating blood. He gets 80 dollars per donation. He hated it because each time he felt like he was being stabbed. He even whimpered one time because it hurt. He got a job as a cashier paying 10 dollars an hour. But even then he was sexually harassed by one woman and flirted with by another teen his age. Dustin feels embarrassed and annoyed by them. He never goes to college yet becomes a computer technician and makes 30 dollars an hour at 20.

Alex is 23 years old. He graduated high school, went to college and got a 4 year degree. He never took any internships, and ignored them because he thought he didn't need them. He eventually gets 98k ( ninety nine thousand dollars) in student loan debt for a degree in business. He applied for 400 jobs they all rejected him because he had no experience. Now he's unemployed for two years straight. He finally gets a job but only at Wendy's making 10 dollars an hour. He's 25, still lives with his parents and eventually attempted to kill himself.

So yesterday there were 27 companies at school and I talked to some of them. One really stood out and later he said I should send him a mail if I want the internship. I really liked the company. 2 other classmates are interested as well and there’s a chance one of them will go there as well. The girl is the human form of migraine and the guy is the most annoying gossiping potato you’ll ever meet. He even told me: “ and they were really interested in you?” I won’t survive 3 months if I have to work together with them, day in, day out.

I met this guy at a wedding and he lives in another country. We talked and danced the whole night. He complemented me a lot, he put his hand on my knee and was really into me. I overheard him telling a friend that i was fantastic.

I didn’t see him again cuz he had to go back. We have eachothers phone numbers but the problem is he is really busy. (He is a straight A student and also doing internships, student government etc.) We talk through whatsapp but he is only online there for like once a week or maybe even less and that’s just for a couple of minutes. But when we do start talking he’s really sweet again. There is also a 7 hour time difference between our countries. He doesn’t have a girlfriend and he’s only into serious relationships. The problem is he forgot my birthday which was on 5th of November and he hasn’t been online on whatsapp since 31st of October. His bday is soon, should i text him happy birthday?
