Asked a girl out on a date and she said she was busy that weekend and her sister was coming home next week and she would be busy because they were visiting colleges. She said she has a pretty packed schedule and she feels like there won't be enough time but we could try. (I'm assuming she is referring to the fact I leave for college in a month).

I pressured her more by saying that she could say no and I wouldn't be upset. And she said I was a great guy and she thinks it would be cool to do something as friends maybe. She just doesn't think there is enough time. I made it clear I took that as a no and appreciated her honesty. But she kept the convo going and then i ended at after a few minutes. ( this was over text).

The next day at work it was awkward and we didn't talk as much. That night when I said goodbye she said that we need to figure out bowling ( we were going to go as a group from work). I said give me a time and a place and she said that is your job and blushed. It was awkward for a few days at work. Every time she saw me talking to other girls she seemed to chime into the conversation some how and sometimes she seemed pissed.

So is it worth asking her again?

This girl and I really like each other at work. However, I can’t date her since she is 19 and out of high school. I am 17 still in high school. My parents are very strict that we can only see each other at work and that’s it. She can come to my football games if she wants and we can talk after but we can’t do anything really outside of work which sucks. I almost got fired for goofing off with her at work. We’ve known each other for a month. She always texts me and I text back when I’m available too. Yesterday, she invited her friend to meet me, in the parking lot, it was very awkward but I played it cool, when we looked at each other in the eyes I felt butterflies in my stomach. We both broke the look quickly and said bye and parted out ways. I think people at work think we are dating because we always walk out together and talk in the parking lot and joke around. Anyways, Apparently today she got packages from amazon that say they are from me (she never gave me her address? So that’s impossible) and it was an expensive looking infinity symbol bracelet, two realistic looking baby pig statues (she loves pigs) a 24 pack of full size red bulls (also loves energy drinks) and a gold dinosaur necklace. All day they are from me. She does not know any of my friends and I don’t know any of hers. but her friends always hear about me (one of them found my number off her phone and sent me messages saying that she always talks about me and misses me after work and all this crap, I told the number I was not interested in talking to it anymore. Her friend actually said in person yesterday that she always talks about me, right in front of both of us and the girl I like got super embarrassed and looked like she wanted to murder her friend. Anyways, I haven’t responded to the texts from her. I wonder if her friends sent them to her with my name on them as a joke or if she sent them to herself and is playing dumb to get my attention?
