Search Results: approaching a crush

There was this bad day for me in which I had an emotional breakdown and started balling my eyes out.
Being the lucky person I am, after this episode, my “crush” accidentally joined me whilst looking for something else.
He asked me if I had seen it and after I denied it he asked me if I was doing fine (and ofc I wasn’t saying “I’m dead inside” or something lol) so I politely said I was fine.
Lastly, after some seconds, in which he seemed to be thinking, he said: “I’ll be here if you need me.” And ik ur thinking I’m paranoid by now. XD
However, late that day, he asked on a group chat “who is this person” and someone answered because I was offline at the moment (it was my number and I’m pretty sure he knew it but was making sure or didn’t want to seem as a stalker or anything lol).
Then he texted me and asked me something like “you okay?” and I rudely accidentally said I was perfectly fine, not asking how he was or anything, which I insanely regret because we could of have started a convo (or not) at that moment. -> don’t blame me, I was happy thay he texted me...

So, do you guys think that was a friendly approach or could it have meant something?

My “crush” started before he got in e relationship and I thought he liked me because we used to stare at each other a lot. He tried to text me once but I kinda gave him a dry reply (not intentionally) and maybe he thought he had to move on. I have noticed that he still looks at me sometimes but I’m not sure if that means anything really... Any help and opinions are welcome, if you have any questions feel free to ask!
