My boyfriend and I have known each other forever and we have a 3 month old together, which we had talked about and planned. After she was born life took a turn for the worse in ways we couldn't have planned for, he quit his job which he has supposed to take over and own, his mom got deathly I'll, and our daughter got bad colic we decided on taking some space will life cooled down so I moved in with my mom, he got a roommate to help out with things around the house since he farms and is never around and now neither was I. Now we are working on getting back together except I HATE his roommate like this is no way around it, I've never liked him. I found the perfect house for us to buy which was 5 minutes from his best friends and 5 mins from work and in our price budget, came with a man cave already with a stocked beer fridge and his dream garage. Basically its perfect for us. But he doesn't want to move in with me, he said it would be at least a year before he would move. Since I'm at my moms and moving back in with him isn't an option I don't know what to do, renting in our area is more expensive than buying a house and his roommate can't move out (he's a marine and him and my boyfriend had a deal for when he came home) his main reasoning is he wants to take it slow since we didn't really before but how do you take it slow when you already have a kid? What do I do? Break up and find my own place or what? I've always wanted to have a family together since I came from divorced parents so I really don't wantto give up just yet, I just dont know what to do anymore.
