After me and my ex entered university our relationship wasn’t going well. We decided to have a break and think about what we wanted. At the end I wanted to keep dating she wanted do end it. So we broke up but we hugged and decided to stay friends. About one month after she started a new relationship with a guy we met at university. I knew they were getting along I kind of saw it coming after we broke up so I even told the guy we were cool and wish them the best. But I was still recovering and the group we were a part of knew about all of this and started to tease me. It was really hard to take some comments, but I just shrug them off. Problem came when my ex and the other guy join in on the mockery! When I confronted her about it she said I should be over her by then and if not to deal with it. It was hard to forget her with her kissing him in front of me on purpose! On a Friday I got to my car and it had “please wash me” written with the accumulated dust on the back window (it did need a wash). I knew she had done it and I lost it. I had enough. I picked my phone, called her and threaten her that either she washed it herself or I would beat the living hell out of her new boyfriend. She spend the weekend trying to talk me out of it, saying it was a joke and I should take as such but I had made up my mind. Monday I caught him grabbed him by the collar, in front of everyone, and threaten them again. She had until the next day to wash it or else. I arrived at the train station the next day and she was waiting for me with a bucket and a sponge. I watched her clean it and felt over her strangely enough. The remaining of the group hated me after that and I had to find new friends.
I am not going to lie, the change in their face from mockery to revolt was satisfying and I felt like “the man” if that makes sense.
This was several months ago and they all still look at me like I am a monster. I have a new girlfriend I don’t need any of them but I feel bad.

This girl who I consider one of my best friends recently started acting a bit different than what she used to.

What confuses me is that she has a boyfriend and I know she would never cheat on him. She is a great person and friend.

But this is what confuses me. Why would she say the following-

1. I was telling her that I miss cuddling someone and she said I could cuddle her instead
2. She said my ex was stupid to let me go and that she was very lucky to have me
3. We have a party later tonight and she was jokingly saying how she could be my date and make my ex jealous.

Am I stupid for missing obvious signals? Or what?
