So I met this guy in January. He works at a dollar store. Everytime I've gone he's been super nice, funny and he blushed every time I saw him. Back then I had a boyfriend so I couldn't flirt with him or anything. My boyfriend and I broke up in February for a lot of reasons. Since the dollar store was close to my house and I didn't feel like going to the big stores... I would go there frequently for small things. One time I complimented him on his cologne and he blushed so bad and thanked me. Other times I've seen him we talk about different things and we have both blushed.

So on Tuesday, I went to get some hot dog buns for dinner. I saw him with a name tag finally again. He was talking to me saying that he was having back problems. As I was about to say something his coworker came up to him and bugged him to sell me a candy. I noticed he was blushing and he told his coworker he sold one earlier. But his coworker was persistent on Alex (that's his name) selling me a candy. Alex was blushing so bad and became shy. I told him no thank you which I felt bad.

Later on that day I was scrolling on facebook wondering if Alex has a facebook and if he was single. Sure enough I found him in my suggested friends. He is single so I added him. He accepted my request yesterday and I messaged him today. He hasn't seen it yet... But am I creeper? Should I just delete him? Or just wait to see what happens?

I really need opinions and votes on this.

I have a friend with benefits. Things have always been on and off between us, but he always makes the first move to start talking to me again. Just recently we started talking again and he added me on Snap and I decided to friend him on Facebook (he added me before, but I deleted him after an argument). I checked his story and he was partying with some guy friends and some girls and he also hasn't accepted my friend request yet (it's been about 10 hours and we're in different time zones so I'm not too upset about that). I realize that we're not together, but at the same time I don't feel comfortable thinking that he's hooking up with those other girls and me feeling like a backup. The main reason I'm uncomfortable with this is because I feel that he's trying to make things deeper (i. e. always texting to see how I'm doing and always initiating contact if we haven't talked for while) and I would like to see where that goes, but not if I don't trust him. Am I overreacting by worrying about him not accepting my request and thinking that he's possibly hooking up with other people while he's away?
