OK, so it's not really his act...but he's using it to full force prior to the election.

Basically, under good standing, it allows illegal immigrants to acquire permanent resident status (though they are technically not legal citizens).

I don't agree with it and here's why:

+ Promotes fraud since you must be under 16 when you arrived here illegally (if they came here illegally, there is no documentation to show when they arrived)

+ It's a slap in the face to legal immigrants who paid their dues (fees included) to become legal citizens

+ It's a promotional campaign to get re-elected (why didn't he do this earlier, like in 2009?)

+ Illegal immigrants could've made themselves legal a long time ago by just doing the right thing. Now they basically get a free pass.

Obama, and I voted for the guy in 2008 (unfortunately), says they are our future. Yet they broke the law to get here (the parents mostly). I say go back to your country and be the future of your country. I know that sounds harsh, but why not be the future for Mexico? Romania? Those countries need more help than we do.
