I’m with this girl for a year now, and 80% of the time far away.
I learned she’s having recent solo dates with a guy she met less than one month ago, in her own house, even though she says he’s just a friend. She says she’s free to be in a relationship and can join or leave whenever each other wants, that I can’t control her, not my prisoner, etc.
Every time I’m asking something about this subject she got crazy at the beginning, but now totally ignores me, says I’m crazy, on other hand says she only wants me, nobody else, that she can talk to whoever she wants.
As for me I got more controlling because I got to know about this new intensive friendship. And of course, insecurities started to rise because she lied to me. She has been hiding all this information about meetings this guy. She doesn’t even tell me who he is and what type of relationship has with him etc
Do I need any more hints?

I was born in the mid 90s and a large chunk of my childhood was in the 2000s.

I will say my adult life has had a very rough start. I have never had an actual girlfriend while I watch my old friends (whom I don't talk to very much anymore) get married, get engaged, and become involved in serious relationships. I am on disability and already have a criminal record. I never been in trouble before, but one day I was arrested trying to ask a girl out again (long story). I have bad luck with women and I already have collections agencies after my ass for involuntary hospitalizations. I am unemployed, struggle with mental health issues, and still live at home. I hate being an adult. It seems like people are less and less compassionate and understanding the older I get.

Anyways, moving away from the griping...

I miss the days when cartoons were good. The cartoons they have now in my opinion suck.

Ahh... I remember shows I watched as a child, Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Drake and Josh, Spongebob (when it was actually good), Kids Next Door, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy... Those were the days!

I remember having the Gamecube and playing Zelda Windwaker and Super Mario sunshine.

I remember when holidays were more magical, like Christmas and Halloween.

I remember being innocent, and playing with my friends.

I had the best babysitter and she was so much fun.

I remember when the latest tech was cool and all, but did not completely engulf our lives either.

Although my childhood especially started going to hell during my adolescence, there are certain things i do miss.

So. I’ve been hearing this discussion a lot. So I want to see what you girls think. The good guy/jerk guy question? It’s not that simple I know.

I’ll give you some background. First girlfriend, and was the love of my life, so I wanted to do everything for her. But she lost interest, and we ended up breaking up. (More things than that, but look at my last question). I read an article on here about tension, or playing it “hard to get”, but that feels like it means that I’m not interested in a serious relationship. I want to do better this time, any advice is helpful🤣
