So, last year, I slowly became friends with this guy, and he's one of those guys that look better the more you know them. I started to like him and started to not even notice we were going somewhere until we arrived. Our classes were always near each other's, so we walked to class laughing our heads off all the way (he's really funny and knows way too many pop culture references). He knew I liked him and still talked to me. He is a good guy and has anxiety problems and is a lovely klutz. I actually got him to schedule himself for a class with me (some asshat switched me out of it; I was looking forward to it). Some dickhole called me his girl (not the dickhole, he was referring to my lovely nerd), and I stuttered, "I'm not his girl, we are just friends." Fastforward to this year, I see him, my heart leaps out of my chest, and he still seems to only care about me as a friend. My friend decided to talk to him about the entire issue, and now everything is awkward. He won't even form full sentences when I try to say hi. I gave him one of my favorite books on his eighteenth birthday (he won't buy books unless they are strange, and this one was of useless facts. I circled all of my favorites way before I gave it to him), and he said, "It has marks on it." I swear I died because he hadn't talked to me for so long. That day he actually sat down at the same table before anyone else had came and that just made me so happy (I'm usually emotionally stunted). Just the other day, he sat directly behind me on the bus; since our friend talked to him, he's stayed away. Last year, when a girl wronged him, I wanted to beat her ass and thought, 'How dare she do that to MY nerd?' Is it my fault that he seems to hate me? I wish things would go back to the way they were. I miss him so much. We are literally next door neighbors if you count being at the same sea level. I miss how his eyes sparkled when we were laughing and his wide smile. Does he like me or what? Hopefully he's just shy:/

I'm a junior & I know this year is going to be stressful & tons of work. Last year, I fell for this guy in the popular crowd, but I'm pretty much over him now because we never really talked, we aren't in the same social group, & have no mutual friends. However, he was my first real crush & I've heard you never get over your first crush. I kind of feel like I need someone to fill the gap.
1) This year, there's a guy who's caught my eye & I'm pretty sure I've caught his eye too. We're in the same social group & I think we have some mutual friends. We've never talked or even been formally introduced, but my girl friend keeps encouraging me to talk to him. So, I think a relationship could actually be within reach if we put some effort into talking to each other.
2) There's also this senior in one of my classes who I think is cute. But after talking to a senior girl friend, I found out he hangs out with the wrong crowd so I decided not to have anything to do with him. I also learned he has a girlfriend. But last night we were both at an event (I was performing) & I looked up at the audience right into his eyes. He was staring at me kind of half-smiling & after we made eye contact I quickly looked away.
3) Very recently, I feel like I've caught the attention of a senior who was on the homecoming court (so he's popular). He's good-looking & seems like a sweet guy. We have one mutual friend who could introduce us, but I feel like this is a very similar situation as my crush last year. I don't want to get my hopes up that there could be some meaning to his glances, so I'm trying not to think about it.
I appreciate anyone who has read this far! If I had 1 phrase to describe each guy: 1 nerd, 2 smooth talker, 3 heart throb. I'm open to just becoming friends with (any of) these guys, too. Should I just focus on school & not worry about boyfriends? Go for the guy who's within reach? What do you make of the 2 senior guys & their frequent glances? Am I overthinking everything?

There is this guy I really like and I've liked him for a little while now. He's a real nerd sometimes but he is so funny and cute. He teases me all the time and I was like... did I die and go to heaven? But I feel right back down after I foud out that he had a girlfriend. He flirts with the both of us, and I've been giving him the cold shoulder. Of course he won't take a hint and keeps yapping away. I've had enough of this BS and its getting on my nerves. He said he would break up with his girlfriend but he hasn't and the more time I spend thinking about it, my grades pay a great price for it. I can just forget about him though because I see him at least 3 times everyday and my locker is right next to his. What do I do?
