The girl, let's call her Mary. She leaves near me, so we walk home together. For 5 or 10 minutes we are alone, and got plenty of time to speak. She constantly touches her hair and face and sometimes giggles at bad jokes. I have a crush on her. I just wanted to say "bye" to her, as our usual hug would have seemed weird in front of the parent. But, surprisingly, she initiated the hug! Signs were good, you'd probably say. So I asked her out. She said she couldn't come on Monday, since she will be at a girl's birthday. Not a bs reason, there are now photos on Facebook. So, Mary said we could do it some other time. Let's say there's a guy called Tom. Tom has been dating Mary for a few months already. The day before Monday Tom announced on Facebook that they're together! The post disappeared afer a few minutes. I asked Mary and she said they really are together. I asked her if she still wants to go to a date with me, she said only if Tom agrees. After, she told me that Tom wants to join us. The next day I asked her on WhatsApp if the "date" will still take place. She said that Tom cancelled the "date". However, she said that they will still date and added a love emoticon. After some texting she sends me: "Call me when you arrive at my house. Love ya. Oops, this was meant for Tom." So, I asked if her bff is available this week. After, she only answered texts with yes or no. I've read that the wrong person text and the profile photo of him which she now uses are teenager things meant to make someone jealous. Conspiracy?
