Search Results: need more affection

So there is a girl I like but am moving forward slowly with. Since we haven't gotten to see each other much in person, I'm trying to just stay as friends for a while until she feels more comfortable with me. She found out I like her a while ago, but we've gotten back to normal talking since then and I definitely don't talk about it or show affection when texting her. We talked pretty much everyday, but she never really initiated conversations. I began to think I might be annoying her, even though I know I wasn't retrospectively and she thinks of us as friends, so I slowed down and texted her every couple days. Then at one point I endured almost a week w/o texting her so I wouldn't seem too fast or desperate. After that when I first texted her again, she totally ignored my messages, including one where I asked if she's holding a grudge, and one where I asked if everything's ok. One of our friends asked her if she's holding a grudge on me and she said "not really" she just didn't really feel like talking. Two days later, I sent another message that asked if i've been annoying or if I did something wrong, and she said she just didn't really feel like talking. But the weird thing is she was talking to other friends, but she didn't feel like talking to me. So when I asked if we can be friends or if she still doesn't really want to talk, she said friends is fine and we talked a bit after that. We also talked a little bit later that afternoon and it wasn't awkward or too much. Then when I texted her a question in the evening, she never replied and I know she's seen it because she was on her phone. I don't think she ignores me if I'm texting too much, because last time was after a long period w/o talking. She probably just didn't feel like talking. I can accept that but when should I text her next and how often is too much? Again i'm just trying to be friends with her and I need to build the friendship since we're relatively new to each other.
