I texted him because it was bothering me that he wanted to hide that we were dating i felt bad like he was ashamed and he could have been hiding something so i texted him this "I sent him this message is it okay? "So I noticed how the day after we ran into your friend you told me to walk the other way and i know you have told me that this is weird to you people finding out. But to be honest this makes me feel hurt it makes me feel like you are ashamed of me and it makes me have a harder time trusting you. I just felt like i should let this out " and he reacted like really shocked he said like wtf you assumed things and stuff like that. i hope i didn't mess up things he is my first boyfriend ever and i just felt worried with what people were telling me on here that he was cheating on me and ashamed of me so yeah that's why i texted him

My boyfriend and I go to the same school. We are the same age, both 16, but I am a junior and he's a sophomore (he got held back when he was little). We make time to see each other every weekend for 4-5 hours, and talk everyday, mostly using Snapchat. I don't mind it much because I get to see him and what he's doing and stuff like that, but what bothers me is we don't text often. We text occasionally but never like Hey what's up babe? or just casual talk. He does it over Snap and always says goodnight and stuff too, but it's never over text. He's told me he loves me and I think I do too; we've been dating for almost 2 months now, but have been a "thing" for about 4-5. I really like him, maybe even love, and he's the kind of person who isn't glued to his phone and I understand, however I miss him sometimes and wish I could see him more often or text more. We go to the same school but because we are in different grades and have different friends, also our classes are never near each other, we rarely see each other during school. I don't know if our relationship is good, regarding the fact we only see each other once a week in person although we talk everyday. I feel like he is a perfect guy for me, I haven't found anyone who is so perfect to me and feel like we could last for years. When we hang out irl everything's amazing, we love each other and make each other so happy, but the lack of communication worries me. What should I do? I know it's only a high school relationship and I don't want a super super serious relationship but I just wish I saw him and talked to him more. Spending time with him in real life is one of the only times I feel super secure in our relationship. I can't help but wonder who he hangs out with during school esp. girls, and he doesn't jump to using text much, but that's just him. What do you guys think about our relationship?
