We ve been dated three times, I realized I like him, but he said let s be friends.

His reasons were :
1) I mentioned my ex boyfriend on the third date in an emotional way (but he said it s fine)
2) we were not kissing, I agreed to kiss him on cheeks by third date coz I develop feelings slowly. He felt it was too slow and is not fair for him
3) he said my dad s position is not helpful to his career. If we get serious it would put a ceiling on his career or our relationship

Could you help me analyze it from a guy 's perspective, if he was only looking for a fling or fun, or he was originally considering to develop long term relationship, but I messed it up?
Is it still possible to develop a serious relationship for us?

We've been talking for a while and we met twice. He paid for my meals and talked about kissing me next date etc.

i added him on fb and did a bit of snooping. I see a girl.. I go to her page and it says she has in a relationship with him since Nov. 2016. That they just went to a concert together and they just went bowling today as well? She has two kids and she works with the guy I'm talking to as well. He's still texting me... but um I'm not looking to be a side or in an open relationship. Should I just stop texting him/disappear?

I really dont want to deal with this 4 days before my birthday. I was starting to like him but I'm kinda glad that I checked that out. I find it weird.
