It's all my fault, I know. But last month I hurt my friend really badly, emotionally. I think she had a crush on me but I told her I liked someone else (she never told me she liked me, she just stopped being her normal self to me). She began to ignore me suddenly, stopped teasing me, and whenever she talked to me it was a very shy, submissive voice, and she playfully poked me. But she never really teased me as much as she did last year.

So anyways, for the last 3 weeks, I could feel my feelings developing for her, and I thought about telling her but I decided not to. Instead, without my permission, my friends did it for me. They said she sounded amazed that I even liked her, but she didn't say no, fortunately. So yesterday, she confronted me about it. I told her I didn't know I felt about her, and she told me to let her know when I do.

Now she's ignoring me just like she was when I told her I liked someone else. I'm not sure the reason why, but I pretty sure it has to do with the fact that I haven't told her I actually liked her, and that she probably thinks I'm joking.

Girls, if you were in this situation, would you think I'm joking?

So a month ago I told my friend I didn't really like her (I told her I had a crush on a different girl). Anyways she began to ignore me, and whenever we talked, she would only talk in a shy voice and she stopped teasing me a lot, only doing occasionally (calling me an a** but in a joking way). Anyways, I finally got over my old crush, and I could feel my feelings developing for her. I decided to tell my friends. But guess what? My friends decide to go tell her, and she is just shocked, she couldn't believe it, and she didn't say she didn't feel the same. But anyways, she confronted me about it. She said she didn't know how to act and she was mixed. I decided to tell her "I don't know." She told me to tell her once I made up my mind. However, my friend tells me she was telling her friends (I see them in the hallway sitting together) so loud about our conversation and how she asked me and I was like "I don't know." It sounded like my friend wanted to make it sound like she was making fun of me. But her actions contradict it. Suddenly she's being a lot nicer to me, talking to me more, and is beginning to get touchy with me (playfully poking me in the stomach, but lightly).

Would you guys say she's making fun of me or is she not? Because right now I feel conscious around her, seeing as though I don't want to be the topic of a gossip group.

So a few weeks I kind of indirectly told my friend I would never really like her. I didn't want to give her the impression that I didn't like her, I guess it just did. Here's how it happened: I was ignoring my crush and I guess she noticed it, and my crush became really sad around me. I felt bad, so I asked my friend (who's a girl) for advice on fixing this. She wanted to know if I liked my crush, and I said yes. I honestly had no idea she liked me, seeing as she only teased me and she teases everyone. But after she gave me the advice, she began ignoring me for about 3 weeks. Until about last week, but she still acts very different. She begins by lightly poking me in the back and when I turn around she is always giving those puppy eyes, and whenever she speaks it's in a very, very shy tone. But the biggest thing that changed was she completely stopped teasing me. She did it a ton last year and for part of this year up until I told her I liked someone else. Now she just talks quietly, asks how I am, and the weird part is she doesn't say it like her normal self - she says it in a very, very caring/nice tone of voice. She still gets very close to me (like touching me), and she's suddenly just nice to me, and she only acts this way to me, no one else. But she teases everyone else, just not me.

Why is that?
