So I know age shouldn't matter etc as long as those two people like/love each other to ignore it, it will be OK. I just wanna know how others feel of this subject and if age to others is really a big problem. I'm flirting with this 21 year old and I'm 18 but still in HS. Our age isn't that much of a difference. But I feel like he sees me as a child since I'm still in high school. I could be over thinking things but I really like him . I just hope he doesn't get over thrown by the fact that we live 20-30 min away from each other and that I'm still in hs. Then again I can just be over thinking.

I got together with my boyfriend over 7 months ago. When we got together, it was two weeks before school ended. So over the summer, at first for a week or so, we talked, but nothing happened after that. We never saw each other once over the entire summer. He never even messaged me or called me or anything like that. Two weeks before school came back I got a message from him, he apologized that he hadn't spoken and came up with some excuses as to why he hadn't spoken to me for three months. I was short with him, but I told him I forgave him. Then he didn't talk to me any more until school rolled back around. When he saw me he didn't seem happy to see me. He just seemed normal. He randomly came up to me later and gave me a hug, but that was it. Long story short, we had a conversation about it later, and everything is great now. We've been on many dates, we talk every night by instant messages, we have couple photos, he's literally the nicest guy in the world. I'm really glad I gave him a second chance. Anyways, now it's time for Christmas break. An entire month away from school. He told me that we would hang out over the break. The only difference from this time and last time, is we've had a chance to bond. Last time he never said we would hang out, and this time he did. I've been on a vacation with his family over the weekend too, and I think his family loves me. HOWEVER, he's already broken the first time we were supposed to hang out outside of school for some excuse that doesn't even matter. I doubt doing chores lasts all day. we were supposed to go to his guitar recital tonight, and we were gonna hang out before hand, but he canceled hanging out before hand cause he had to practice his guitar and didn't want to waste gas, which I understand. then he messages me like an hour later and told me the recital got canceled cause his teacher's wife is in the hospital. so I asked him if he could come over, and he told me he had chores to do at home, maybe another time.

So... does this current behavior seem like he isn't planning on spending time with me? Or am I jumping the gun just because he did this to me before over the summer? What exactly is your prediction?

My best friend is in the Navy and deployed. Before he deployed, he talked to all sorts of women, was always a player. He met me, and thought I was attractive but I had a boyfriend at the time. Well, he had been talking to one of my friends and was flirting and what not, and I knew all about it of course because she and I are friends and he and I talked about it. Well before he deployed, he says to me that he can email, and that he wants my email to keep in touch and that he is only supposed to email family. Well, I'm good friends with his sister as well, and she told me that their family barely hears from him...I hear from him every week.

He sent me an email recently saying that even if he can't email me back that same day, he still wants me to email him and tell him what is going on in my life. Even if its 2-3 emails in a row...and he hopes I am not forgetting about him.

He and I are planning on seeing each other when he gets back in February. Either he is coming out to me, or I'm going out to him. He said he wants to take me sight seeing, and take me to some places that remind him of me. Before, he used to take pictures of where he was, and say something like "You would love this."

He and I also came to an agreement that we wouldn't have sex with anyone until marriage. Before he left. He constantly calls me adorable.. Sugar Plum. Pumpkin. Sweets. He never calls anyone else that. I know this because I've seen him text girls. Usually he says "youre hot" or "youre fine" or something like that...
