Been dating this person casually for 2 years. After the first 9 months he said he loved me. I couldn't respond to it and simply kissed him. A month later I reciprocated and he said he felt the same. One month later he went out with another chick. This whole year I found that I was the one asking to see him and do things together. He broke up with me the week of his birthday because I asked if he was seeing someone else, then came back to me during the summer like old times never stopped. Then he once again started back pedaling. He told me when he really has strong feelings for someone he puts distance between them... I didn't get it. He claims I scare him because he can see himself with me forever but is scared he can be the man he's supposed to. (uuummm?) I ask him why dont we see each other more than a few days a month. He gets upset and says I always ask that question and when I do ask it he doesn't want to see me for a while. Which leads to weeks of no visits just phone conversation and text. Then when he's ready to see me and I say I enjoy his company wish it was more frequent he says here we go again and back to no visits. Now he says he needs a break to get his head right. I asked what are the rules and what does the break mean... he says no rules and he doesn't really know what he means by taking a break? I said,"do you want to just be friends?" He said no because he loves me and knows he has strong feelings for me. I told him I'm completely confused. We are on a break now I guess and now he answers the phone and responds to text faster and better than when we were not on a break. What's his deal? Any advise?

I was with my boyfriend for about 7 months and we were really close friends before we began dsting. This is basically my first love. So i dont really know how to handle it. He wasn't mature enough for a relationship i felt like i forced him but he said he wanted it. He was constantly with this other girl, holding her hand. It started arguments. We fought a lot becausehe would talk to her and i didn't trust them together. She had a name out for herself. I delt with cutting issues. I was putting a lot on myself. It tore me up. People kept telling me "you really gonna stress over this highschool shit " i was caught in my emotions. We eventuallt broke up. He said he didn't want a relationship. I started seeing them on instagram and snapchat together. She sleeps over his house. The more it killed me inside. I tried to commit suicide, stupid idea. I wasn't just struggling with him i was struggling with school, family, myself. I lost myself. My parents were really upset. Suprisingly so was he. I knew he still cared about me, his feelings werent there but mine were. We began to be friends but it was rocky because we would hear rumors which started arguments. Which led him to say he didn't want anything to do with me. I had a panic attack because iwasnt ready to. loose someone. so close to me, he actually understood me. The next day i got into an argument with him and the girl he cheated on me with, it escalated and i hit him.. i felt terrible. I let my emotions controlme i shouldn't havedone it. I started getting threats from his friends. I've been reslly depressed since. I tried to talk to him but he never replies. I miss him. And i feel alone. Seeing him with other girls makes me wanna throw up. He doesn't even look at me. I hate what he did to me but i hate that im not with himm
