I am in a summer class at a community college that just started at the end of May. I see him twice a week, we are in the same lab group. He sits right across from me face to face. But my intuition is feeling like sometimes he is flirting because he comes off so friendly to me. But he seems like a really nice person. I can't tell if he is just being friendly or flirty. We all exchanged numbers in our lab group. There is him, me and 2 other girls. But I added him on snapchat, and he added me back within seconds. But he always asks me specific questions. Like "did she take attendance" directed at me and he said, "how was your weekend" he's not asking other girls questions directly to them. We talk after class now before we get to our cars. He caught up to me in the hallway the other day. We smile at each other, but that's because I am a friendly person in the class. But I really can't tell! He's so nice. But guys say, in reality, guys aren't actually super friendly. He's too cute to be a super friendly person lol to the point it's questionable. So please help ya girl out! I need some wisdom. I might be over thinking this. But do you think he's interested? He hasn't texted me or snapped me just to talk to me. If he was interested he would initiate texting too right? So I don't know! So I work retail at a little girls clothing store. Yesterday, I had a customer who was shopping for his nieces. He was really cute and we flirted for a little while. When I was checking him out at the register I asked for his phone number. I’m supposed to ask for his number for a transaction anyway, but I asked a little more playfully to try and show that I was asking for myself. I don’t know if he understood that I meant that I wanted to ask him out. Is it weird of me to text him now?

My friend started shipping us, as she thinks we're cute together, and we apparently "flirt" but I don't think we do we're just being friendly. I'd ask my other friends but I feel like they'd just say he does to annoy me.

He calls me names, like "midget" and "elmo" because I apparently remind him of elmo. He then always empathizes how short I am, even though there's a girl in our friendship group who's shorter than me. He'll say stuff to me like: "I swear you've shrunk" "You are so small" "Every towers over you" He'll also take my things, and knowing I'm too small to get them off him and then he'll laugh at me and give them back.

But apart from that he's also caring towards me. Like when he thought he upset me, (he did) he apologized and said "I didn't mean to upset you, I feel bad now". He also didn't hit me with a snowball in when our friendship group had a snowball fight, saying he wouldn't hit me because it's unfair on me. And I have really bad hay fever so when I came to class, and it looked like I was crying he was really concerned. But friends do that anyway, so my friend is delusional I guess.

My friend says she finds it cute how when we were washing cars for a fundraising event, he splashed me with water once by accident, then of course I was angry so I chased him with a sponge and he the deliberately threw half a bucket of water on me, which made me chase him angrily even more, but it was a hot day so I dried off.

My friend thinks he likes me and made us a ship name and everything but I just don't see it. I've come here to get an unbiased opinion so please... Help me?
