My boyfriend and I are having a huge fight because I went to a comedy show with my best friend. He's male and straight but he has a girlfriend for 4 yours. We're just friends and there was never anything but friendship between us. My boyfriend and I have been together for about 6 months now and he's living in a different country, I just came back home. I can see that it's difficult for him because he doesn't know my friends personally but I never gave him a reason to question my love and loyalty. He was going on about me being disrespectful and was also making jokes about me being on a date and was very short with me. I told him about having a male friend right away on our first date and he said he was okay with that and that he generally wasn't the jealous type. At first I tried to explain to him that he has nothing to worry about but he was kinda freaking out even more and said it makes it worse when I try to justify this and that trust is earned not given. Then I just said that I'm sorry and that I wasn't aware that it upsets him that much and that I wouldn't meet him alone again. I thought we're back to normal then but he's still very short with me so I asked him and he said he forgave me but he's still kinda mad and that he's now questioning the age gap and he would have already broke up with me if he didn't like me. I don't know what to do because I already apologized although I didn't even do anything. He never said that this is such a dealbreaker for him.

Was anyone of you ever in that situation (both sides) and can help?

We've been practically sisters since we met back in kindergarten. We're polar opposites who sometimes have a hard time understanding each other, but nevertheless we love each other unconditionally. However, since about a year ago, it seems like she's been struggling with sexuality issues, but I'm not sure. I don't even know how I can bring up my concern, because whether I'm right or wrong I think I could offend her. This concern of mine started one day when we were skyping and she started telling me about this gorgeous female friend whom she claimed she admires and can't stop thinking about. She tried to explain further but stopped, clearly feeling uncomfortable or worried. I wanted to try to understand the situation, whether she just admired this girl or had feelings for her, but I didn't know how to talk to her about it. After that, she never brought up the girl again and neither did I. Today, she facetimes me and starts bawling immediately, telling me about her roommate she always hangs out with. Apparently they used to hang out all the time, but now this chick has started hanging out with this other chick, and this other chick is, I quote, "changing" chick 1 to be more stylish and extroverted. On the other hand, my sporty, introverted friend says she feels left out and so jealous that she can't sleep. It seems to be bothering her so much - I mean, excessively! My friend even feels the urge to check her roommate's location when she's out with chick 2. I can't understand what's happening to my girl. I had my share of drama back in middle school and high school, but since I started going to college most of my friends have been guys and the only female friends I do have aren't, you know, surrounded by girl drama, so I don't know how to give her the right advice. I told her she should talk to her friend - without making it too dramatic, but she says she doesn't want to. Then I told her that she needs to find more loyal friends, which I don't think helped at all...
