Recently, I broke up with my ex after an issue we had and five days later, he found himself a new girlfriend. I gave him back his stuff and he returned mine after two weeks of arguing for it 🙄 but I’ve been happier without him, but would occasionally miss him from time to time. We just got on good terms, however I was told through a friend he gave the girl he’s currently with the ring and necklace he gave me that I returned back. She showed me the picture and I was extremely hurt because that meant a lot to me and the fact I had to give it back and see him put it on another girl hurts.

Is it okay to feel this way?

I was staying over at a close guy friend's house, went to visit him abroad. He introduces me one of his flatmates. That day I'm wearing my favorite adorable dress which suits me really well. The roommate compliments on it and kind of hits on me. I say thank you and don't think much of it.

We hang out and I have to stay over the night because my friend doesn't want me to stay at a hotel. But he has to take a business trip for one day so he leaves to come back the next evening. I take a shower, left everything including my underwear hanging in the bathroom then head straight to sleep in the guest room. After a few hours, his roommate comes with a bunch of friends and they throw a party in the living room. They get drunk and loud but I still manage to sleep because I was so tired because of the flight.

In the morning I realize I forgot my stuff hanging in the bathroom and I enter the bathroom there is literally NOTHING! All that's left is my necklace. My dress, bra and panties are gone! I go crazy and ask his roommate. He "seems to me"getting red and starting to sweat but says he didn't see it. I ask my friend when he gets back like "hey I think my dress is lost in the house" and he laughs at me, saying it's probably in my suitcase.

I check all the house, I check my suitcase, even my handbag! Nothing. The stuff absolutely vanished!

After a few days, the day I'm leaving, the roommate says to me "Oh, it's such a shame you couldn't find that dress! you looked absolutely wonderful in it!"

I don't want to blame anyone maybe it wasn't him but to this day I don't know what happened to my dress. And I can't find the same dress anywhere in the world! :'(

Some friends told me guys do weird stuff like this. Like sniffing your stuff! Is it true? Who do you think was the thief?
