We were friends then hot and heavy then we were boyfriend and girlfriend. But sadly she got sick and over 4 months I saw her get worse.

Till now she is in such high meds she is out of it. Sleeping most of the day away and the rest sick. She is having a surgery soon. But I lost contact so I don't know when. She pops on now and again seeing My messages.

I'm hoping and praying but I dont know if I should hold on. In my past I got really hurt by an ex and my girl promised to always be there even just as a friend and that she would not ghost me.

Should I hold on to hope and love or let go?

In an odd circumstance, I was recently contacted by a former bourdoir client. She had me shoot her as gifts to her boyfriend (now ex) and she was interested in going on a date. She mentioned how she felt comfortable with me, and like the fact that I treasured her of her natural beauty, when I didn't want to edit the images for "imperfections".

This got me thinking about other jobs I've done for fashion and bourdoir. Fashion in particular often requires me to edit blemishes and imperfections out of my images. Not something I'm particularily happy about, and something I strive to not do with bourdoir clients. I like to see beauty in all things, and when i sit down with a client, I try to break through the misconceptions of beauty and show them their natural beauty is much more powerful.

So, does the norms society puts on beauty hinder our views? Should the medias be willing to show the wrinkles, blemishes, stretch marks, etc? Or do we need the idilic images, edited to perfection, in order to fantisize and strive for, even if it's truly unattainable?
