My relationship ended recently, because my ex-boyfriend and I had trouble seeing a future together that would be successful. A few months ago a met this guy at work. He is extremely sweet and gorgeous. I had to do a double take when I saw him. I decided not to go up and introduce myself, like I woulda normally done in the past, because I still had a boyfriend at the time. He ended up looking for me and introducing himself to me! I blushed, which is something I haven't done over a guy since middle school.

This guy was kinda pursing me. We work at a nursing home, and he used to work third shift, but he would come in the morning. I'm pretty sure he made excuses to come in at work to bump into me. His grandma was also there and he would visit with her. We usually ended up talking to each other a long time, and having some nice conversations. The conversations ended up being long and the grandma didn't like it. Later on she grew to like me though and I had some nice conversations with her after that. I even met his dad and got to talk to him. When I bumped into his dad one day he asked if his son and I had spoken recently.

When his grandma passed, I was really upset about it too. I ended up asking a coworker for his number and texted him. A few days later I got a friend request from him. The day before I broke up with my boyfriend, I noticed that he was in some pictures with a girl. From what the girl posted it sounded like she thought they could have a future together. I don't think he's "officially" dating this girl, because of his status and he didn't post or like anything on the pictures. They also may have gone on a trip together. The timing was just aweful! I really wanted to get to know this guy and possibly date him.

So my question is.. Should I text this guy to start a conversation, ask him to get some coffee or lunch, or just not message him.

Also if you do think I should text him, what should I say? and how do I mention I am now single?

there's a girl that I'm worried about on my bf's facebook.
He says they've been friends for a while. We broke up a few weeks ago because he was liking all of her pictures, liking all her statuses and commenting on her stuff. He NEVER likes my pictures or statuses, but he always invites me places and introduces me as his girl. Anyways, I accused him of cheating with her. He got very angry and said she has a boyfriend. I was snooping and the guy she was with in her pictures is her "bestie" but they have a lot of pictures together. So I don't know if that's her boyfriend or not. I check his phone sometimes and I dont see her texting him. However yesterday she was first in his messenger fb contacts. I checked his fb messenger before and never saw her before. I'm really skeptical, how do I approach him without causing too much? :/ I'm trying to trust him and put my faith in him but I'm having trouble. Or am I just being insecure and needy?
