He's my age, 17, and he comes up to me to chat and spend like, 2 hours talking (like 4 times/week). We go to the same college and we are both musicians. In fact, recently he saw me and came to sit with me. Then 2 of his friends came and then mine came as well so we were more like focusing on out friends rather than talking to eat other but we still said some things. According to my friends , it is like we sort of avoid each other but or close just unreachable... I myself know that I am really good at hiding my feelings. I did like it though that he came to me. I did notice though that when he talks to me he holds eye contact and gives a half smile sort of. He laughs at what I say but it is like he is really good at hiding it. My friend also noticed him a few months back always looking at me. Now it's like he knows I'm there and looks at everyone but me... I do that as well. I do go to chat with him as well so it is from both sides. He also comments on my posts whenever I say that I achieved good grades, and I do so myself on his posts. He also remembered me telling him my favorite composer, that was sweet haha. We are always encountering at the library, it is like (at least from my end) that we go there not just to work but to meet or see each other. I am pretty good, but I still show that I care. When he sees me he smiles automatically and when he comes to talk I see him trying to reduce the smile.
My friend noticed is that when I was leaving the library, his friend kept looking backward at me and my crush tilted his body slightly but not completely towards him like he was before when I was sitting in front of him.
lastly, the day before he initiated chat twice, once to talk about a guy (our convos also start with an excuse, for ex, him saying: "do we have rehearsals tomorrow?" Then the second time he sent me a draft of a music composition he was working on. What do you think? My opinion is that there may be a hint of interest but it's not clear.

So I have feelings for my best guy friend and everyone wants us to get together (aka ships us). But every time someone even suggests the idea he jumps to defensive about how he "isn't looking for a relationship right now" and even did that when someone wasn't even talking about it, she just looked at him funny for singing something. He never seemed to care about the shipping before I found out his friend likes me. And he gives that friend his "stamp of approval" like a big brother would and tells me he ships it (which really irritates me). But because of this sudden change I can't help but wonder if he is hiding how he really feels because of bro code or he is just getting irritated at the "ridiculous notion" in his head about possibly considering wanting to date me. It is just making me more and more stressed out and depressed every time he denies it. So could you guys give me your thoughts on the matter?

My boyfriend and I broke up after a 2 year relationship that was amazing because I was leaving for university next year. He kept telling me we have no other choice and he is right. We decided to still be friends
2 week after the break up he came to meet me while I was with all of my girlfriends claiming to meet all of us which is BS. He was being so over friendly with them and weirdly normal. But he sort of was pushing me away and acting as if nothing happened.
I called him today to tell him some news about my university application and in the middle of the conversation he had to make a call to his college coordinator for some work and apologised and said he would call back but never did.
I dont know what to make of this. He was talking all friendly on the phone in a way. Why didn't he call back.. Does he not care anymore, or is he over me already? Its just been 3 weeks so far.
Or is he pretending?

My Boyfriend and I started dating in the 11th grade. We date for a little over 2 years. Since the beginning we knew that he was planning to stay here for education and i was flying out to the US for at least 4-5 years. He was very keen on long distance until he realised that he won't be coming to the US anytime soon and long-distance doesn't make sense.
Initially i didn't agree but I did because I didn't want to be tied down and long-distance is quite hard. We met and spoke and ended it on very good terms. He said he doesn't want this but we don't have another choice. We decided that we both want to still talk and be friends. Besides, I'm leaving for UNI next year. He said if he hangs on to me any longer he won't be able to let go and I agree it'll be more painful if we don't end it now.
We decided not to talk for at least a week after and when either of us is ready we'd call. He was really upset about it all and throughout our relationship he has been nothing but amazing and so loving it was perfect.
It's been 9 days since and he hasn't called. I did text him once inbetween to let him know my exam scores but that was it. He deleted our photos off social media sites and I felt bad but, it had to be done.
I keep breaking down because I have to force my feelings away and I just, wonder if he will actually call me because he has a good control over his emotions and hiding them.
I dont know how to get past this.. Our relationship was so perfect and now we both are just, over. It's so painful.
