Search Results: how long to wait before i ask her out again

So, I have just recent got out of a relationship, but the guy was still talking to me, we still acted like a couple, had sex and so on. However, I felt really sh*tty for doing this because I was just scared to be alone.

However, while we were dating, we would hang out with my guy best friend, who I have liked for about 3 years. During our relationship, I began to like my guy best friend again. This was part of the reason I broke up with my ex-boyfriend. Anyways, they became friends, but my guy friend never really connected as much. While they were hanging out, my boyfriend clearly told him that I was off limits and if he ever kissed me, he would punch him in the face.

So, at this point, I was SO sick of my boyfriend being controlling and possessive. I went to go hang out with my guy best friend on Friday, because I was broken up with my boyfriend at that point. We spent the WHOLE day flirting, making cupcakes and smearing cupcake mix on each other faces, finding any excuse to touch, catching each others' eye, etc. It was very clear that we liked each other and we could openly talk about it.

So around 11 o'clock, he asked me to go on a walk. We ended up in a field, where we set our blanket, and laid under the stars. There it happened - he finally kissed me about 3 years. We cuddled and kissed more. We got to a point where my shirt was pulled up and stuff. He announced that he really liked me and has for a long time, but he wasn't able to do it before.

One problem: He still has a thing, and was still talking to a girl that just recently moved across the country and isn't coming back. I asked him if he is going to tell her. His response "I have to tell her. I mean she's not coming back here so it would be hard for us to connect." So, for now we are keeping it a secret from everyone, because we can't be together right now. We can't tell his family or anyone. He said it sucks but we will be together, but we are just going to take it slow. He said he would wait for me as he kissed me.

But once we got back, my psycho ex-boyfriend came to my best guy friend's house because he thought I was going to be home earlier and he wanted to pick me up. I had to tell him that it was completely over and we were not going to talk anymore to him right in front of the guy I just barely kissed. However, I didn't tell my ex boyfriend what we had done.

Anyway, so after I said my goodbyes, my new boy drove me home and kissed me good night...

Fast forward 4 days later. He hasn't really texted me at all, except for responding 6 hours to a day later. The texts haven't been as flirty as they were, and he hasn't made any effort to start conversations. I have also seen him flirting with the other girl across country over twitter and Facebook, so I don't think he has told her yet. I'm just confused. Does he want to be with/ actually like me?... or what should I do? I don't want to lose him. I feel like I'm bothering him. How long will it take to tell her? WIll he?

We met at a party last Friday with tons of people from uni. We're both studying engineering but different programs. We share common friends. He had to leave for another party with his friends, so he asked me for my phone number, tried to kiss me on the lips (which hinted ''player mode'' to me), texted me shorty after leaving. He texted me again on Saturday night, and on Sunday evening. He asked me out on a date and we met up around 8 PM. We walked around for a long while and we finally went to eat dinner at a nice restaurant. He paid for me.

I Facebook-stalked him before, to make sure I'd be able to tell if he bullsh*tted me. We talked about our parents and personal background. I know he's adopted, I know what type of parents he has, the relationship he has with them, what he was up to for the past years, his favorite hobbys and things, etc. Turns out both our parents come from the same region, he likes a lot of nerdy things I'm into due to having an older geeky brother, we really hit it off and we were cracking jokes.

The thing though is that I was worried about his player vibes. I'm very distrustful of men on first dates, in general. Turns out he's 25, I'm 21. He's that old because he switched majors. I was worried he'd take this for a one night stand. After dinner, we walked around in circles for a long while. I was worried he would drag me to a dark alley or something lol. He ended up kissing me at a light corner. We kept walking hand in hand, stopping every once in a while to make out. We finally arrived at the subway station and he wouldn't let me leave. We made out for over an hour. I made it very clear I wouldn't sleep with him and that he had to behave nicely. I asked what he wants and he said ''let's take things slow''. He didn't grab my privates much, it was basically very long and heated preliminaries. He often said he couldn't bare it. He kept telling me I was pretty, complimenting my eyes and skills all the time, he even said he couldn't stare at me anymore because he was too turned on. He said he wanted to fall asleep in my arms, that he felt really comfortable. He often asked me to hold him closer, he was very cuddly. He even came in his pants, that's how heaated it was. I never touched him from his belly button to mid-thigh. He said he'd respect my boundaries, although he was struggling immensely.

So anyway, I had to leave to take the subway before it shut down for the night. He said he wanted to come with me so bad (he was going the other direction). When I came home, he had texted me twice:

"Memorable night, your eyes haunt me already"

"You're really cool. I can't wait to see you again"

So basicially, I'm suspicious because he gave me more compliments in one night than I've received in my whole life. He didn't cross the line, he was very sweet, but he also was in no hurry to let me leave. It's gentleman-like to pay for my meal, pull out my chair and not jump my bones. Output please? Let's vote!
