I fear either being flat out ignored as if I was a panhandler, or a response that makes me feel that I was doing the wrong thing by starting a friendly conversation (a girl looking at me confused or replying back to me in a mean sarcastic way).

even after having a nice convo female, when I ask to keep in contact it always hurts sometimes when they say "ummm...o...k... here", but I understand that's my fault because I usually ask for the number at the wrong time or they aren't interested in me.

the worst response I've gotten is when I tried to approach two girls with my cousin. my cousin was just asking them if they were single, and the girls laughed as us then ran off.

another fear I have is possibly having that girl's boyfriend magically drop from the sky and saying "yo, this is my girl". I've heard stories of guys getting embarrassed by trying to talk to a girl that isn't single and appears to be alone, then having their boyfriend or husband appear out of nowhere.

one last fear is not having anything to talk about. I've learned to keep the convo as casual and fun as possible and to not be forward. but something certain situations need you to be more forward (if a girl is walking past me or if I'm in a hurry) and sometimes I don't wanna creep a girl out that way. >_<
