Lets say your wife recently gave birth to a little baby boy who has horns growing out his head. Unfortunately your son has the vector virus where he was born with telekinesis abilities that also give him the ability to slice people in half by the time he's 8 years old. When you first see your son he cries and sucks your finger. He stares at your face often and cries whenever you put him down. He also cries every time he poops. He also likes to grip your fingers and drools on you every once in a while. The doctors say when your son turns three he will be able to lift you up and throw you across the room and his body will be able to take on a lot. They also say that he might have more powers and they dont trust him. Your wife calls the baby a spawn of satan and says God is punishing us by giving us a demon baby. She yells at the baby to shut up, hits him, says she doesn't want a demon as a baby. your son sobs uncontrollably. When he's three and can walk he doesn't use his vectors against you but he's really shy and hides his face often. Would you be afraid of your little son or would you be fearless and love him?

I consider myself a feminist. I believe in gender equality, and I think there's still a lot to do. I have experienced gender discrimination first hand, both in high school and especially now that I'm in Med School - many people, believe it or not, are more likely to trust a male doctor than a female doctor. I know that it's hard to change values that are so intrinsic to society, but I truly hope that if a have a daughter when I grow old, things will be at least a bit better.

I hate to see some people speaking in the name of feminism to carry out acts that are extremist and definitely not according to the values of equality that I support... These acts speak against feminism!
