That's a quote from The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran, obviously about religion. What do you guys thing? Do you believe what he says that what we believe affects everything we do? Can we really separate our beliefs and our faith from our actions and words? In voting for president or congressman don't you look at yourself and your morals to see who you think is right? And aren't your morals a part of your beliefs? Whether you believe in a god/goddess/higher power or not is irrelevant, because that too, that belief in nothing is still a belief and do you think it affects how you act/who you are? Not to mention religion doesn't have to be an organized thing, not in the strictest sense. Isn't religion just a set of beliefs that you identify yourself with?

I just want to hear your opinions, I think it's interesting to think about. Just, if you're going to post, please respect every one else. We're not here to call names or tease, we're here to learn different ways of thinking.
