Search Results: don't want to be left hanging on

So there's a lot of misunderstanding between me and this guy. Began pretty much as soon as he asked me out--w which as quite a while ago. It didn't work out because i wasn't ready , which is ok we could've just put a pin in it, but i did an awful job of communicating and i left with him thinking--well many different things not much of it good. Anyhow , years later we've been spending lots of time together and im not sure if we are working on re building friendship or were still into each other. I know attraction is still there, and we both try to be alone with each other on occasion but where we used to be direct we are now secretive so hard to know whats up. So, i dont know if he's trying or has moved on and i can't decide which direction i want to go in without hearing from him. Plus i was thinking some explanation would be good. I still feel weird about how things went down.

Anyhow i decided id have a talk with him, and i went to see if he's cool with that and he lost it for a few seconds. I'd say he got mad but i think he must have already been mad. Im ok with that i mean entitled to bis feelings, but he's said nothing to me about it. i dont mind him being angry, but really, to not tell me about it and just flipped out.

now, here's the other part. if wed never spoke again id think ok he's mad bc i was a jerk-though unintentionally- and of course he do sen want to talk. Weve been hanging out and he's asked me to hang out and I've been making an effort as well, so it doesn't make sense for him to be mad. And, I don't know if i even want to try taking to him. Its just rue. I dont have friends who anomy yep because i dont sp end time with people who are rude. have no idea what to do here. He might be a bit bruised from the past or it might be unrelated but that wast even what i was planning on talking about.

What would you do?

I argued with this guy I was talking to because he was playing mind games. He told me he really liked me and wouldn't text me for 3-4 days. I confronted him and he got very defensive and told me off and said he didn't want to deal with an emotional person like me he hardly knows. He disappeared for two weeks. He recently messaged me after 2 weeks. He said he needed space and that he did enjoy hanging out with me. That he was "truly" busy and he is sorry for not getting back to me. He hopes I understand, etc. At first I was happy he messaged me and I responded immediately apologizing as well. I had a major crush on him. But then I checked his online dating profile and he was online yesterday. I'm trying to be smart about this.
I'm not sure if he's genuinely sorry, or that he knows im nice and he can use me for his boredom. If a guy texts you to apologize yet still goes online for profile is it still considered genuine? I was really hurt when he argued with me and just didn't talk to me after without trying to solve it. Then told me he didn't want to deal with me when he hardly knew me. I'm pretty sure he is just keeping me around as an option. He must really think I'm stupid. He says he has been "crazy busy" but he had time to re-do his online dating profile and go online. So Im not sure if I should tell him off again saying I dont want to be an option and I'm glad he messaged me but can he not contact me again. Or to actually believe him. I know he's bored. We have hung out once and talked/facetimed for a month before this. What should I do? I don't want to get hurt again. He really did a number on me when he left.
