Maybe it's just ME, but from my personal experience the super religious people I've known have been very angry and depressed.

I had a friend in high school who was Mormon, and he was one of the happiest and most outgoing people I knew, then he went on a mission for a few years and came back all depressed.

My mom is a devout Catholic, her family are devout Catholics and they are all very short tempered and moody. My dad left the church and seems much happier, but his family members still practice and they are the same. So moody, rude and easily offended.

Ironically, my atheist friends are actually A LOT happier and more outgoing then my religious friends.
I myself fell into depression when I was a child and my mom forced me to go to Sunday school. It was horrible, because even the slightest thing such as swearing or having a sexual thought, would make me feel guilty and I would literally confess EVERYTHING to my mom.

My mom used to say my life became shit after I stopped going to church, but the reality is, I became MUCH happier AFTER I stopped going to church.

But I see this on GAG too. Religious people on here are always angry about "something" and get offended so easily and seem to have depression.

So there's this girl at my work, but we work different positions and only see each other a few times a month for 5 to 10 min.
I've had my eye on her from Day 1, but at the same time I've had the vibe that she's all business. I've been wanting to talk to her from the beginning, but she always did her job then left in such a hurry and I didn't wanna seem creepy.

We only started talking recently, mostly work related stuff, but I can tell she's starting to feel more open and comfortable with me.

She was looking forward to seeing me this month, but seemed sad when I told her we won't 'cuz of different schedules.

Anyways, she can be a bit moody, but she's jumped in to help me out and has said things like, "I hope the assholes stay away from you today." And started being really open with her feelings about other coworkers, and customers and I felt that's where we sort of connected.

One day she was radioing the maintenance people, but I wasn't sure so I picked up and she kind of raised her voice to me in a rude tone. Then a minute later she calls back and says, "Don't worry you didn't do anything wrong." Also a new guy kept fucking up after I trained him and she said, "Don't worry, it's not your fault."

I didn't think too much of it but did get the feeling that she might start liking me at least in a plutonic way.

So today, my other coworker, the only one who I'm really close with, said she caught her laughing at a text I sent her. And she told me that she said about ME, "I want him to open up to me. He finally started talking to me."

I was like, "Really? She said that?"

My coworker replied, "She just wants to get to know everyone."
But is there a chance it could be more than that?
Why was she looking forward to seeing me next month? And why was she so happy that I finally talked to her, and why does she want me to open up?

I deliberately hinted to other coworkers that I enjoy her company.

I don't know. What do you guys think?
