Like most girls, I have a crush. I'm in year 10 and recently the boy I was crushing on found out I liked him. But before he found out I have caught him doing a few strange things.. First of all we aren't besties or even friends, more like.. just classmates. The only time we talk is for school projects. Anyways, here are a few things I have found him doing repeatedly. He will follow me really closely in the hallways or pass me quickly. If there were spots open near where my friends an I sit in the dinning hall he would sit as near as possible. I'm very shy during class but very talkative around my friends, sometimes I catch him laughing at the things I say to my friends. In gym whenever his pal or him got me out in ball, he would laugh and whisper to his pal. He seems to be a flirty and jokey with all the other girls, but with me he is always quiet around me. I do glance and him once in awhile, sometimes catching his gaze for a second or two. The next thing I notice is that he places his hand on my desk or stands near it as he talks to his pals in class. I always feel myself blushing when he does this and it seems that after he walks away he looks over at me. My friend has told me a few things about what she has noticed with him, she said that she over heard his friends talking about how he likes me, how in homeroom he was talking about my hair or eyes. She said these were rumors but somehow I never heard it, but I usually never hear a lot of rumors. My friend said she caught him looking at me when my back was facing him. The odd thing is that after he found out I liked him (i didn't know he knew until a few weeks later) he didn't tell the whole school or anything (like most popular guys would), it just seems that he studies me more often. One last thing is that his pals started to act a bit nicer to me but that was only for a day or so and then they went back to their old selves.. So what is happening? Am I just freaking myself out?

Basically, there is this guy in my class that I have really strong feelings for. He found out at the start of last year, and ever since then, it's been a bit awkward between us... we even just completely stopped talking towards the end of last year. We pretty much lost that friendship. Now, we're back to being friends, but we're a bit awkward with each other sometimes.

Thing is, I told him that we should start a snapchat streak and he said ok, but that never happened. He has a streak with my friends, even one of the ones he barely talks to, but not me. He's also constantly looking at me, like today I was standing with my friends and he was at his locker and he looked back at me and looked away.

We rarely talk at school, but then once we leave school and it's only a few of us, that's when we'll talk and be comfortable around each other. Just kind of strange, because he's constantly looking at me, and he doesn't act like this around any other girl.

1.) He asks me random questions. He'll often propose a dilemma like: "If you were stranded on an island with one person, who would that be?" or "If you were hit in the head hard, bleeding heavily, and dying, what would your last words be?" Why does he ask me these questions? Is he just trying to get a reaction out of me or find an excuse to talk to me?

2.) He complimented me. So, last Friday when I sat a seat away from my crush, there was gum on the side of the table and it got on my shirt. Luckily, I got it off, but it was super embarrassing! This time, I sat in the seat directly next to my crush where his friend usually sits and my other friend noticed. She teases me, saying "Oh, (my name) just wants to sit next to (my crush's name)." Keep in mind that I haven't told her I like him! My crush replies with "Aw, how sweet." I laughed and sarcastically said, "Yeah, you should be touched." His friend and mine kept asking why I didn't sit with my other friend, but they eventually let it go. 😂

3.) We walk together to class occasionally. I've walked with him many times to and from lunch and in between classes. We talk about many things, and I think he's trying to get to know me through that sometimes.

4.) His friend acted suspicious one day. When I began to sit at the same table as my crush, I think maybe his friend began to notice how my crush and I interact or something because one time when we all sat down, my crush's friend asks me, "Oh, am I in the wrong seat?" I said, "No?" But I think he noticed the tension.

5.) He complimented me, PT. 2. In the passing period between the last classes of the day, I confronted him about a realistic picture I drew of him that my friend texted him. He said "Oh yeah. It was pretty good." I quickly tried to explain myself so it didn't seem strange and he seemed fine. We even walked in circles cause he said he was following me and I was doing the same to him! It was funny, but I was glad he liked my drawing of him.
