I worked at the Apple store back in 2018 via a staffing agency. unfortunately I had to leave them four months later cause the staffing agency that hire me to work for them could no longer sustain the contract with the company.

I really miss working there and now that they are soon reopening after the pandemic I thought I now have an edge in getting hire by them specially after so many employees are still afraid to go back to work.

the apple store where I worked at was only a 5 minute drive away from my home. but I was thinking of also applying to another one of their store that is outta state and will take me 45 minutes to get there. so far everyone in my family thinks that this is a stupid idea and a waste of time and gas. but again I do live in small ass place where everything is 5-15 minutes away so people here are technically too lazy asses to commute this far

but how about you? do you think this is a waste of time and gas?

I am in an area with a moderate amount of cases. With my job I have little to no contact with people but the chance to interact with people is still there. My job is considered essential but they gave us the option to not work if we don't feel comfortable. I started off working it but continued to interact with people. I decided to go into quarantine when I heard you could pass it along with out knowing that you have it.
so I have been quarantining for 5 weeks. I got an email from my boss asking if I wanted to come back but if I didn't we could work out a personal leave. I said I was thinking about waiting one more week and going back. I told him this and he did not respond to me. Its been 15 hrs and normally he replies within 15 min. Then this morning he sends a mass email thanking everyone for their efforts in this tough time and he is seeing a lot of good work. I feel like this is a slight at me and I feel like he expected me to return and is mad now. Now I am starting to feel guilty and debating if I should just return now.

Do you think I should go back or is it ok to continue to monitor it?

today I got an employees number at a fast food restaurant.

I was driving my moms car, she probably thought it was mine. I live with my mom too.
Im currently unemployed & Working on my GED.

Should I mention this info when I ask for someone’s number?
I don’t want them to get false impressions upfront

So as it stands, she’s doing better than me in life & if she knew, I doubt I’d have her number
