Hey guys, I hung out with a man 10years older than me to watch a movie today, I am totally confused as I am receiving mixed signals. After the movie we were walking along the harbour and chatted for around 3 hours ( well quite a lot of awkward silence as we were not that close) and he just discovered I am turning 17 next week ( he thought I was turning 18), he kept saying I am too young and he shouldn't teach me naughty stuff, and he said in his eyes I am a child. He wouldn't even tell me his birthday and he doesn't asked if I have any crush yet. And we did not take a photo together.
On the positive side, we shared the same water bottle during the movie, and after the movie we walked past a food stall, and we bought food, he used his chopsticks to feed me noodles. And we sat down by the harbour, he asked if it was cold, I said a bit cold, then he wrapped hand around my shoulder and pulled me towards him and said do I need him to hug me. And there was a moment when we both stare far the sea, he put his hand on my waist for a whole minute. And while we were walking he put his hand around my waist also. He likes tickling me a lot. I mean , this is a couple thing right? Does he like me more than friends?

Hi guys! this story got a bit long, but I hope you're willing to answer anyway ^^

It’s about a boy from a student-popchoir that I’m in. He is the chairman of the PR-committee I’m a member of (doing stuff for the website, social media and other design stuff). I’ve known him since September, but only since a few weeks I’ve had more contact with him. Outside of the choir I don’t see or talk to him, most of our whatsapp conversations are about committee-related stuff.
I really really like him and I want to find out wether he likes me too. I think there are some signals, but I’m afraid I’m taking them the wrong way. For example: he gives me lots of compliments (mostly about how well I’ve done my assignments) and he responds to my whatsapp messages within seconds (which is saying something, because he’s busy with his medics-interships). Last week there was a halloweenparty organized by our choir. During the party he came to me and asked if I was having a good time. I said yes - then a silence - and then I felt like I had to say something so I told him that I thought he had a great singingvoice. He seemed flattered and he laughed and smiled. When I left the party he suddenly started to high-five me and he gave me a hug. He never did that before and I barely know him to be honest, which also means that I have no idea what he’s normally like. On the other hand there are signals that I’m missing.. for example: I haven’t spotted him trying to make eyecontact and he doesn’t ask me personal or silly questions. But then again, maybe he doesn't know how or he doesn't have the guts (like me). Anyway. Do you think that he was just being polite (being in his role as chairman) or was this flirting? is he going for friendship.. or could there be more?
