Search Results: interacting with the opposite sex

They're not common, but when I see them, I'm mindboggled. It's crazy how some people hate the whole of the opposite gender. I find it's more women who say they hate all men, but there are a few guys who hate women, too.

There are women who claim that "all men are pigs", which is of course absurd.

There are men, the self-proclaimed "nice guys" who aren't nice but rather just anti-social and therefore unsuccessful with women, who claim that "girls are all stuck-up, shallow bitches who look past the men who wouldn't abuse them in a relationship and go for the abusive a**holes... clearly girls just want to be abused", which is just as, or possibly even more, absurd.

Where do these insane views come from? Is it just from their bad experiences or am I missing something and they're filtered through to these people through media? :S

And yes, they are insane. Most people are decent people. Men aren't pigs. Some men are only in it for the sex. But that goes for some women, too. Women aren't shallow. There has to be some physical attraction for a relationship to work, but the main reason these "nice guys" "finish last" is because they just don't know how to interact with women and aren't confident at all in themselves. And women obviously don't go into abusive relationships expecting to be abused; moreover, most relationships are healthy, even if they end badly - it's the vast minority of relationships that turn abusive (one-sided abusive, i.e. only the guy abusing the girl).
