This girl is merely an acquaitenance at my work, both 20, and I do find her cute but I'm still deciding on whether I like her or not

(My very first message to her on FB)

Me: I'm gonna skip the 20 min of small talk and get to the point, (my friend) isin't going with me to Warped. Wanna go with me/may I tag along with your friends?

Her: I think that sounds just dandy!

Me: Yay so what's your new favorite song by (band)'s new album?

Her: Oh man. I haven't found one that's my favorite yet. But it is a really good album

Me: a lot of people complain that they don't like the new style, I don't mind it honestly.

Her:People always have to find something to complain about. I don't think it's bad at all

Me:I really like (song) and (song)'s lyrics

(NEXT DAY)

Me: Their new music video gives me goose bumps (YouTube link)

Her: That probably has to be one of my favorite music videos from them

Me: I know right? do you like (bands)? I was listening them today

Her: I like My Chemical romance...though the cd they put out towards the end I couldn't really get into



Me: Yeah I hear ya. I also grew up on Linkin Park yo. And (friend) got me into the post hardcore genre by the way, I'm obsessed with (bands).

Her: I'm. Obsessed. With. Blessthefall. They're my favorite band. I've seen them way too many times that their merch guy always recognizes me haha



Me: (friend) got me into blessthefall by the way what's your number? Its better then fb chat

Me: By the way I'm sure Blessthefall is gonna be at warped \m/

Both those last 2 messages were read, and no response. I asked for a # at the high point of the convo... and she was genuinely interested in talking. What went wrong?

Long story short: Me and this cute co-worker are 18 at a simple grocery store. I asked my casual(not best) guy friend if she had a boyfriend, since he knows her, he said yes. Apparently the next day he told me she thinks I'm creepy(due to our age diff, 4 yrs? geez) so this guy friend wasn't reliable for keeping secrets(it happens). If you're curious my interactions with her were semi-ok, she seemed to be a bit shy honestly, but friendly, since I've only spoken to her about 2 times, both short convos.

Sent her a quick message on Facebook saying "Hey, heard (guy friend) said you think I'm creepy. that's fine (blablabla) guess I came on too strong by adding you so fast, have a good life, sucks too since we could have at least been friends since you like Linkin Park and I do too" and I blocked her as well.

BUT this guy friend I heard was known to be a manipulative lier, and since I haven't confronted her I don't know the facts. And I don't know IF I could confront her? wouldn't it be weird to ask "Do you think I'm creepy?"

What do you all think I should do at this point?
