This guy who already has a girlfriend, has promise rings with and lives with her but then started texting another girl who was a previous coworker of 4 years and that following Friday randomly stopped replying which he doesn’t usually do and the following Monday says he’s having problems at home (which might be that the girlfriend got mad or jealous and said he couldn’t talk to this girl anymore) to this girl he’s texting. He never mentions this girlfriend of his to the girl he’s texting, although she already knows about her. Now there’s been 2 months of texting 5 days a week while he’s at work and talks to this girl for 9-10 hours each day.
Nothing is said that is super flirty like compliments regarding appearance but the guy is being super caring and attentive and says he enjoys this girls company and her replies make him happy and that he doesn’t want to lose her.

I have this old coworker of mine that just left 2 months ago and we’ve been texting since. We worked together for 4 years.
He now texts me 5 days a week from morning till evening while he’s at work starting with a good morning text. He always says he enjoys my company and likes talking to me and has said he doesn’t want to lose me.
Every now and then he’ll come and visit my work and when he stops to talk to me he seems to pace a little bit and fidget with product that’s nearby and doesn’t seem too talkative but then when he goes to talk to my managers he’s standing completely still.
It’s just that he has a girlfriend, who he’s never told me about and seems to avoid telling me but he lives with her and has promise rings with her but I’m pretty sure he might have feelings for me too. anytime I say something that’s like borderline romantic I guess or revealing feelings sort of he just seems to brush past it to avoid saying how he feels?
Like one time I said how I look like a crackhead when I’m home and he said “haha well I’m sure you don’t look like a crackhead” and then I went on to say I do and then when I put makeup on I transform into average looking and he’s usually quick to respond but took 25 mins after I sent that just to say “well that’s your opinion I guess”

I've been thinking about this for a while, and its been bugging me... one of the funnest thing about dating or courtship is that feeling of movement and fun, the guy chasing the girl, the girl seducing the guy, blatantly speaking. Once you put a ring on it, that's basically asking things to simmer down, isn't it? Its promising commitment to each other, but at the same time that certainty that you'll be together forever kind of kills any chemistry sooner than it would have died out naturally. Will married people please share their opinions?

I’m best friends with this girl who I would bend over backwards for. I’ve carried her problems as if they were mine and I’ve reached out so much for this person when they need me. However, due a couple of things in my personal life my mental health has decreased to where I needed my friend but she just started ignoring me or barely talks to me when I just wanted a friend just to talk about random things. However, about a week ago when I thought I was feeling fine I ended up having a few drinks at home and before I knew it I was a drunk and in a very dark place to where I was gonna to do something stupid... I had messaged my friend and she rang me at 3am talking me down for an hour. Telling me she’s sorry about not being a good friend and promised me she’d text me more and stuff. However after all that happened I’m grateful for someone being there at the moment in need but she hasn’t really messaged me since. I think I’ve received about three messages but no replies... if this was the other way around I’d call my friend everyday and do everything in my power to support and help them in their difficult times which I have before in the past with this person... I just can’t understand why does the person I call my best friend doesn’t really talk to me no more...

Ps I’m okay just never going to drink again...
