People say relationships are 50/50 and are a lot of hard work. Each individual is supposed to put in an equivalent amount of effort to make it last. Then why do people cheat? Things end and heartbreak happens? If they were really a joint effort, divorce would not happen at the rate it does.

What has me skeptical are those people that get married more than once, sometimes more than 3 or 4 times. Are they just unlucky in love?

Nelson is 23 years old. He's 5'2, brown skinned, and has a face that looks like a 16 year old's. He never had vagin*al sex with a woman and never had a girlfriend. He also discovered she had a boyfriend and was practicing s*x acts on him to try on her boyfriend a month later. People would often laugh and tease Nelson for being short and childish. In high school Nelson was long term friends with a guy who was 6'1, popular, and had several girlfriends and was a well known foot bag player. Nelson always saw girls fall in love with this dude, love him while he was always overlooked and put down.


Nelson tries to be a kind, loving person but he has his moments. One time he lost all control of his emotions and started sobbing uncontrollably in public. He tries his best to control his emotions but he can't mask his true feelings in public. Nelson feels strong emotions and sometimes they explode in his heart. Nelson is highly intelligent. He makes A's and B's in science, math, and goes to college to be a doctor.

In my early twenties. Don't really have any friends. Only co workers I talk to here and there since I work in a office by myself. Didn't have a boyfriend in HS. Still never had one. And I'm quite mistified by this. I'm told I'm pretty. But, I'm very quiet. However, a lot of shy girls have had boyfriends already. I'm told I'm sheltered and need to get out of my shell.

Anyway, I've tried Match. Bunch of shallow guys on there it seems. Tried OKC and POF. People tell me that most people just want to sleep around on there. But, I've heard of people who have gotten lucky and met a decent S. O. A bunch of mixed reviews, generally more negative though.

They say that love finds you. However, in my life, I think I may be the exception 😶

I am 23 and never had a boyfriend. I feel down about this. Everyone I know has been in a relationship but me. I don't really have many (any) friends. And guys don't pay me much mind. Plus, I don't go out often. I've tried online dating. I just am so afraid I'm going to die a virgin and end up an old maid. Am I unlucky in love?😞

I'm starting to think I'm unlucky in love. I've never had a boyfriend. People tell me that I'm attractive. In high school, guys didn't ask me out. When I took classes in college, guys didn't show interest in me. People seem so shocked when they hear I've never had a boyfriend. The few times I have gone out in person, it was a weird guy that approached me. I'm either too picky or just "not putting myself out there enough". I've tried free and paid dating sites, dates either go no where, things fizzle out or things just don't go as planned. It really sucks. I don't have many friends, mostly acquaintances. I have a hard time trusting people from all the negative scenarios I've encountered in my life. Why would no guy want to date me? Am I actually attractive?
