Would a father having a say in abortion really make a difference if his child's mother had already made her mind up?

Something I read on here got me thinking about this.

Lots of people seem to think that a man should have a say in whether their S/O has an abortion or not, and that's fine if it's possible they can reach a mutual understanding/agreement but, If that child's mother has firmly made up her mind, is there really any point?

I have a daughter, and my decision to have her was purely my own. I did consider abortion, but I knew it wouldn't be something I'd be able to do. However, if I had, It would still have been my decision.
It could only have been my decision.
Just as my daughter's father's decision to be part of her life was purely his.

Would a father having a say in abortion really make a difference if his child's mother had already made her mind up?
