Guys, does watching porn make you feel less attracted to your SO?

Does watching porn or looking at other girls with better bodies make you lose attraction towards your current partner?

I’m just curious, because recently my husband made comment about me getting breast implants.

Also, I’ve been reduced to watch porn myself, since his concerns are never to satisfy me sexually, and I’ve noticed the difference between the male talents and my husband and it’s a bit of a turn off.

I’ve already told him I desire more sex and he said that I need to put in more effort in dressing sexier. I did that but it didn’t make things better for him for long.

    That's a bigger issue.

    • You beat me to it. This seems like a bigger issue, one not nessesarally porn related.

    • I know but I think I’m tired of trying.

  • I met a girl. I quit watching porn. She is my porn. The thought of internet porn makes me uneasy ever since meeting my current girl. I can not think of any other woman except for her in that way.

    Porn is unhealthy.

    • Is it a bad sign if he never stopped looking at it? I don’t know if he would watch porn when we started dating, he may not even watch it now, but I do know for certain he saw girls naked on reddit. And lately he’s been commenting and making fun of girls that we know of being slutty on Instagram.

  • Do you learn driving from "Fast n Furious"?

If not why should you learn sex from porn?

You may watch, but remember to treat all actors as that: ACTORS. Their concern is just the box office.

  • I tend to believe that. Your husband is proof I think. It's like smoking... If you could do it in moderation (with smoking, you can't) it would be ok. But because you either smoke or you don't, and porn is the same, you lose control. Smokers who say they are "cutting down" are full of shit and are fooling themselves. You quit or you continue. Period

  • Porn is not a good thing and I recommend anyone who watches it to quit it. I consider it cheating since it is looking at other women. I also would recoemdn saving sex for marriage.

  • I don't think that at all. I know I have a higher sex drive then my girlfriend. We have sex about 2 to 3 times a week. Porn just keeps my sexual needs tended to then trying to go find someone to cheat on with.

  • Absolutely not. I watch porn regularly, but it's just fake fantasy, and that's why I watch it. It's not indicative of what I want in real life nor does it affect how I feel about my partner.

  • Makes me feel like I got a small dick even though I'm considered above average lmao. All the male talent is rocking like 9 inches.

  • All honeymoons eventually wear off. It is inevitable but it doesn't have to be sad. Much depends on the depth and quality of the emotional and spiritual connections. If sex is all there is …

  • I don’t think it makes you less attracted to your so. It’s just a release if you have sexual desires that your partner isn’t in to in a way that isn’t actively seeking out a real person to fulfil those desires.
