I have a guy in my life who insists we’re friends but he always calls me “little one” when he says goodnight/good morning. He is a little older than me. Is this like an affectionate thing, like addressing a child or is it something else? I’ve only heard of little one being used in kinky scenarios lol

I wouldn't say this to a woman unless she was my partner and she liked it. Otherwise it sounds patronizing. How do you feel about this? Sounds like you should tell him to "knock it off --- I'm not your "little one" or anyone elses."
