Labia have been said to look like "roast beef." Genitals are designed as function over form; that is, the form follows the function of them. Somehow, many people have a predisposition to try and find aesthetic meaning in them as well. They are not built for that. Can they remind one of something else? Yes.

For example, the word "glans," comes from the Latin word "acorn," as the shapes are similar. Suffice it to say that even the proper anatomical term is still based on simple language, likening part of the anatomy to some other well-known object.
