because the act of getting caught gets old and it could be fast or slow depending on the feeling you get from the first time or if you are ready for something new again.

I am not sure but I heard of the opposite that sex was better the second time than the first. Sometimes the first time you could be overly excited or nervous and just don’t enjoy it.
