I've read little news snippets, about how Millennials especially, but also other generations, are more likely to be online, and 'mutually masturbate' than actually have intimate, physical sex. Some suggest that the pandemic, has altered the perception of the younger ones, and that they just aren't having sex, like previous generations. Rather, they are posting things, or online 'sexting' and video-chatting and 'playing' online.

I think more people feel an urge to want some sort of action, and casual is the easiest way for them to get it. For most they've spent time on their own with only themselves able to satisfy them, why turn down the chance of someone else doing it if it's easy? I'm not into casual sex though, I want there to be meaning

No, MUCH easier. Everyone's staying home, so they're available all day. Also no parties so all the girls are starved for sex. Even those that are still working, many work from home, like customer service on the phone. They enjoy having their pussy licked for a few hours while they're talking to customers, with their legs in the air.
