It's totally normal for a guy to fantasize about ever women he's met at some point, unless he's totally repulsed by her or it's a relative.. but even then lol Men just do that, I wouldn't read to much into it.
'Fantasizes' is generally sexual in which case he sure is sexually attracted to you for sure :-)Nothing more can and should be analyzed with what data is made available :-)

It means he's fishing. If you value your marriage you'll put up some strong boundaries.
Fishing... For what, how I feel?
He's trying to gauge your interest, seeing if you would ever cheat. He's being a bad friend. If he wet truly your friend he wouldn't want to make you feel uncomfortable or undermine your relationship. Do you share this information with your spouse? How does it make him feel?
*were, not "wet". Where's the friggin' edit button?
He's always tried to be mindful of my marriage bc he doesn't want to cause problems but doesn't want to stop talking for some reason
Fantasize in what way? Like both of you together in a bf/gf relationship or sexually?
Leave clear to him that you have no intention to be something more than a friend, he might get confuse if you ignore his feelings and don´t talk about it.
Sounds more like he has a lust for you.
Why would a guy do that for seven years though... That's just stupid
Probably he is too scared to make a move, for 7 years.
no it means you make him horny.
Well, I wouldn't say that to a guy friend
Also, don't you think it's a little weird that you're talking to another guy, while married?
Especially if he's telling you things like that
We were "talking" before I met my husband.. I moved on but we still talk over the least seven years
You "moved" on... doesn't sound like you did... you wouldn't still be talking, after 7 years
I did move on but we were never really able to stop talking for long
Then you didn't move on
That's beside the point
No, it's exactly the point. You're talking to a guy, you never got fully over, and in a marriage at the same time... you're cheating, technically
