Why do so many Americans see things in black and white?

Hate to break it to you but the whole world is like that lol, and well there is a big difference between blacklivesmatter and bluelivesmatter.
One group is a terrorist organization pretty much that incites race wars, discrimination, racism, racial supremacy and hatred to the point were people of their own race reject the group. Most people who follow it are deluded, or blind.
The other group is about protecting cops and allowing them to do their job, and protecting the innocent cops so that more aren't gunned down by members of Blacklivesmatter or people that sympathize with them like they have been in the past. Also a lot of cops are former military who served their country and fought to keep us safe, came home and wanted to keep us safe domestically but now find themselves being attacked for doing their job and slandered by the likes of BLM who are protected by the cops ironically.
It's a matter of black and white because it's a simple right vs wrong argument you have a good group with a good track record and a bad group that's never had a good track record, who's inspiration is a cop killer on the FBI's most wanted terrorist list.
Not the point I was making but that's a nice essay you got there. Still begs the question why the KKK isn't considered a terrorist group but I must stay on track. My point is people either blindly support cops or they think that the entire justice system needs to change.
The KKK was considered a terrorist group though back when it was actually doing terrorist stuff but now a days they're pretty harmless and they haven't done anything in years that's why they're not refereed to as a terrorist group now a days.
Also about people blindly following the cops that's actually not true, and you have to remember all cops are not the same and they vary a ton depending on where you lie in the US. The cops here in my town for instance are great they do a good job, no one hates them and they're respectful and polite about 90% of the time, other 10% they can be a bit attitude-ish but that's about.
But I wouldn't dare say the same thing about the cops in say New York where it is an entirely different thing going on. Crime wise, work wise and violence, environment wise. Yuo don't have to always be on the look out when it comes to gangs and criminals, black folks etc here.
But in New York especially in the areas were that kind of stuff is always happening you do. So obviously the cops will be more on guard, trigger happy, cautious, tired and aggravated, worn down, etc.
So in that way the way you've explained in my opinion yes that can be a grey area, but the way you have it explained above can cause confusion in regards to the cops vs black part.
But also what you blame us for doing your doing as well by claiming that we only see in black and white and no other way.
because black and white is easier for people to understand. it requires no effort or understanding. essentially it's the lazy way to living life.
Well black lives matter is a racist movement so yeah... don't support it and anyone who does support it I just don't understand. I do view them as racist, just as I don't support the KKK and if I did I would expect to be called a racist. And blue lives matter is because black lives matter is supporting the murder of police officers. Blue lives matter isn't saying "gun down black lives". In fact most blue lives put themselves in danger on a daily basis to protect black, white, yellow, polka dotted lives. I'm also a conservative who has muslim family that we love dearly. Anyway, this isn't just Americans. This is people everywhere. People are often times close minded and defensive when someone doesn't agree with them. There are many people working together to bridge the gaps between us but why would we hear about that? That shows a united people and the media/government doesn't want it's people united. It wants us all divided and controlled by fear. Scared people and divided people are easier to control.
i dont support either blacklivesmatter or bluelivesmatter, and i know most people in America want peace and to live their lives normally. I want all people to be just and responsible for their crimes and actions. The thing is, the media-like CNN, Fox news push an agenda and focus on specific issues to push the agenda to which their network favors. CNN pushes a liberal agenda, Fox pushes a conservative agenda. You're generalizing a large population. I get this is a rant, but it's like me saying all of England is racist when I'm sure many aren't.
Of course the media is dividing us. But too many people think the police force needs to be changed from top to bottom or they blindly support cops. No in between. I honestly think those Americans are too shallow minded to do their own research. Race issues are huge right now in America. People say it's almost as bad as it was during the 1960's.
I honestly think those Americans are just too lazy and self-absorbed to upgrade their minds so they continue to think on such a shallow level. Their one-track minds essentially have no use when it comes to progressing society which is ironic because most of them speak as if everyone needs to aim to reach their idea of progress.
@Waffles731 Good job failing to properly read. "THOSE Americans". Nowhere did I say I was referring to each and every single Americans. I'm not sure why people around here get so touchy and see generalization where it doesn't exist if someone doesn't make a common sense disclaimer.
I support all lives matter and apparently that's racist against blacks. Smh. This whole race thing is just getting old.
Agree. I've experienced people getting mad at me for saying "All lives matter". When I wrote it, I meant every lives matter and everybody have rights as a human being, and therefor black lives matter too like other human's lives. I don't get it why people can't get along better and it's just a appearance (Skin color). Why can't everybody just be friends?

Blinded by a bias that they see things in black and white. It's like people hating feminism, you can hate radical feminists but still support real feminism, but there's people that still generalize feminism into one category.
I don't dare to judge if they're really like that... maybe the public opinion steers them in that way :o
I'm diplomatic, I try to disarm a situation by understanding the "why" instead of only looking at the "what". That generally helps :D
The media thrives on controversy. It's also better for our two party system for everyone to think in a black and white way.
Group polarization: when people have more extreme opinions when in a group setting with people who disagree with them. They might say all these extreme things but wouldn't say shit when faced with a muslim coworker or blm supporter.
like idealism and materialism can fight to univerise
skin color - gene -who arrive america first from univerise
im guessing its because of the two party political system.
It's not American thing, it's a human thing.
It's pretty much same here as well
Very good point - I totally agree with your analysis
Its not just the U. S its just people
lay off the crack and actually get to know a few more Americans.
well they're not very intelligent as a country, it figures.
Thank you for saying it.
that is a very good question I have no idea.
Becuase the U. S is a cultural backwater
