Do you think a father should be allowed to forgive his son in an honour killing case?

Shezadi
There is a very famous honour killing case about a Pakistani social media star called Qandeel Baloch.
She was killed in the name of honour by her brother for being bold on social media.
Her brother accepted his crime on camera.

Then, the case went on for three years even though her brother accepted his crime on camera.

Yesterday, the guy has been forgiven by his father because the case went on for three years and the father just got tired and lost all his hopes.

This is extremely sad and shocking. A guy accepted his crime on camera yet the case went on for three years. This makes people lose faith in law.

Secondly, according to Pakistan's law, a father can forgive his son in an honour killing case. This is extremely unfair. This law is wrong in so many ways. This doesn't make Pakistan any different from those Islamic countries where honour killings are still legal.

A lot of Pakistanis justify Qandeel's honour killing just because she was bold on social media.

They have this attitude if any Pakistani woman is bold on social media, she should be killed to save the country's image and culture.
