Partially agree. He is absolutely what our country needs, however he is mistaken in both his view of the US and of Trump. That is to say Trump is not racist, he is not evil, he is pretty damn intelligent (I mean he has more businesses then most people have friends and relatives and almost all are successful and even when some started to fail he made them successful again, then managed to get himself in the spot light and sell books and rebrand himself when that happened turning his "failure"(as far as failures go this wasn't a particularly impressive one) and turned it into a success). What he has done however is create balance again.Basically the US has been dominated by the left (who also by the way, created the KKK, created the slavery in the US and who created all the segregation laws while the right fought them every step of the way), for almost a century now. They controlled the media, they controlled the schools they controlled most of the politics (politics was the one area they didn't completely dominate which is why for the past couple of presidents we have had them bounce between right and left for the past thirty years). What Trump has done is removed the tactics of the left, in short the left would accuse the right of being racist which if they where wouldn't be all that insulting (but they are not, republicans where founded upon the abolisheness movement, their singular purpose was to end slavery. The first republican president was Abraham Lincoln who did just that, the first black governor was republican (in the 1880s no less), same with the first black representatives and the first female supreme court justice. They also where the ones who passed the civil rights act of the 1890s, the 1920s, the 1950s AND the 1964 civil rights act (all of these where opposed by the democrats). So the left drums up hatred of republicans by accusing them of exactly what democrats had done for all of our history. They constantly attack the character of the right, shame them for not catering to minorities (because to a republican their are no minorities, their are americans and their are not americans and they don't think the color of your skin should matter but rather who you are as a person, that should be the thing that matters) using the fact that republicans don't try to give special privileges to this group or that as some how evidence of their "bigotry" and so called "racism". They then use old hate and animosity to convince people that America was founded on slavery, it wasn't. 1% of free whites owned slaves in the US, 48% of free blacks did (and despite popular belief many did in fact own slaves and plantations and they where not simply buying back their relatives and loved ones), and so did a large majority of Native americans (in fact republicans forced native americans to give up their slaves when they banned slavery in the US to the ire of natives), and in fact slavery existed every where for all of history up until the west started outlawing it (which is constantly ignored). So they take this acknowledgment of past wrongs that the US made (well, half of the country made) which we all were taught in order to remind us that we had a long ways to go before we reach our ideal society, that we needed to grow from those screw ups and learn from them so we don't make those mistakes again, and then they turned it on us. They used it instead as a way to flog the white population to make them feel bad for something that happened long before they where born (and was done by the very ideological group who are now trying to guilt every one else over it). So how does this relate to Trump? Well for a long time now republicans have just been letting the left trample over them. The left have enjoyed all of this nearly unmitigated power for a long time and then here comes Trump who is rich and not ashamed of it, who when insulted by the left just throws it right back into their face unlike the republicans before him.
So he isn't playing by the rules that the left have created, namely that we have to go along with what they say or they will destroy your character, get the media to gang up on you etc. He just calls them out. Its basically the same affect that you see during the over throw of a tyrant, no one says anything about their frustration and anger because their afraid that the rest of the country will turn on them. But when things reach that peak some one speaks out against that tyrant and those who hear who have been keeping silent now feel safe enough to speak out which then in turn causes a ripple affect and all the people who had been keeping silent out of fear are now emboldened. Trump has caused that ripple. Many people on the right and those in the middle where just infuriated by the way our system has gotten corrupt, the completely abusive strategies and policies of the left but we where never able to express it because our schools either indoctrinate you to this way of thinking (conservative voices in schools have been systematically stamped out, we went from having 20% of teachers being openly conservative in the 90s (this had been going on for decades) to now having less then 1% openly identifying as conservatives. Students who are conservative are punished etc.) or they would be punished with either lower grades or what have you if they spoke up. They couldn't speak openly if they where in the media or Hollywood because they would get black listed and lose their jobs. Hell thanks to democrat policies even private citizens are harassed and attacked for being conservative. But now we are able to speak because Trump is saying much of the things we have been thinking, he is standing up and this in turn emboldens other conservatives and moderates to stand up and its causing the left's lunacy to boil to the surface as they go into panic mode (hence the rise of Antifa among other things).
He is essentially the fever that is burning out this corruption, its not pleasant and its probably going to be worse, but its absolutely a benefit to our nation because he is now giving the other side a voice and letting them know that its okay to love your country, its okay to have a different view, its okay to be conservative and now we can push back and hopefully undo all the damage that has been allowed to be done.
Well that was quick. Thanks.
Interesting, not sure if I agree with him.
