Right? Like us millennials act like we're SOOOOOOO special and creative... so where's the amazing art?
We actually aren’t that cool. If anything, we should take a look at our parents generation. Those people were fucking crazy. Which I grew up in the 70s!
Oh please, you simply do not remember the utter dogshit that was released alongside Led Zeppelin, the rolling stones or the beatles. You remember the good parts and not the bad.
@Soteris Sweetie I'm fully of aware of the Top 40 garbage released between the 70s and 90s. Today we don't even have that... we have mumble rap... bimbo white girl pop and lifeless rock
Just the fact that there are more of them now is not particularly strange seeing that anyone can record and release whatever they want on youtube for example. Does not mean that the garbage today is any less bad than the garbage of the 70's and 80's though.
"Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift" - Two corny ass vanilla pop acts writing sing along crap for 15 year old suburban teenagers. We've come a LONG way from Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston.
For the most part, I agree. I think these chicks can do way better than what they are. I personally like a singer named Dorothy Martin as far as modern rock/pop goes but no one knows her or her music. I just wish we had more Nirvanas and Elvis and Joan Jett.
If you like them you might like Nico Vegahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVD_y43bKfY
The problem is that the few millennial rock bands out today, even in the underground, are insanely unoriginal. I'm a HUGE metal fan and I don't even bother going to local metal bars anymore because all the bands are megadeth and pantera clones.

They're skilled but it's insanely unoriginal and cookie cutter. Also the whole atheist thing is so 5 years ago lol
We are talking about millenials - the generation is going over, there is another generation up and coming now.To service originality, www.youtube.com/channel/UCz9Qm66ewnY0LAlZlL4HK9g
Actually the Melodysheep option has some other points going for it beyond originality. It captures pop-culture and memes, and these are pretty central to millenials.
This guy is cool!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoLtWPBmCmw
I like his stuff. and it has depth.
Nice video. Maybe it will get through to some people who deny evolution.
@goaded It's not like it can do worse eh?
Are you fucking kidding me?
You really are an old geezer aren't you? So you're unaware of the HOARDS of teenagers all over old youtube videos for bands like Led zeppelin and motorhead who say they feel their generation was cheated of great music?
"Are you fucking kidding me?"Yes. Is it working? :)The Beatles were amazing; I saw a documentary with Paul McCartney saying almost every track they did was different, he made the claim that they'd invented Heavy Metal (Ringo complained about getting a blister on his thumb from so much drumming).
